My account has been hackedFollow

i tried to log onto ffxi today, and it says my ID or password is not correct, i was just logged in last night and i have not changed anything at all. i checked and tried to re log on several times but no luck. my account has definitely been stolen, and i have no clue where to turn, can anyone help me out?

Calling SE is your best plan. In the meantime, do a virus check on your PC and try and find whatever nastyness is on there, and get rid of it . Take steps to protect your PC in the future also (adblock and noscript for example, if you're on firefox)

Hope you're lucky in getting your account back, theres a post somewhere that details some of the virus thingys responsible for the hackings, I'll see if I can find it for you. ^^
