My Names Chris and this is my story.
About 2 years ago I had to stop playing FFXI for a few reasons. I had to start working more I moved and did not have internet and my ps2 HDD crashed and after that life got complicated and I never was able to start back up.
Well a "Friend" of mine or someone who I thought was my friend said his character got hacked and wasn't able to play anymore and said he wanted to know if I could let him use my Char. Dyer till I decided to start playing again. So without question I let him cause he had always been a pretty alright guy. Well time went by and I guess he "Did" get his Character back. And at the time I told my LS leader that he could use my rdm for dynamis since my "Friend" had his PLD back.
So I was able to get my information back and to my surprise most of my expensive gear was gone.... when asked about it he said he was "Using it" well I told him I would need it back since I was only lending him the account. Well I did get back some of my gear but still the best gear was gone he said he sold it! When I said why he was like "Dude you were gone forever and I needed money" Wel lI told him that was pretty messed up and he was liek well I cant give you the stuff back cause I have no more money.
Well at the time I was pissed but I wasent able to play so I figured id be able to get my stuff back sometime in the future.
Well now is the time im finally able to come back I am playing on PC now and my LS is gone the "So called friend" hes gone too and hear I am with no money and a large chunk of my gear is gone.

to make matters worse all my macros are gone and its gonna take awhile to remember how to make them.
So What I ask is if there is anyone out there who might be able to help a guy out to get his gear back... weather it be a donation or just for hire that would be admirable. My rare/ex collection of gear is very good although I do not have much god gear. I Do have sky and sea access.
Please dont think of this as begging if you cant help mabey some tips would be appreciated I really dont knw how the game has changed since I left.

To be honest, Abelapoo does have a point - it's silly to trust someone you cxan't go and punch in the face when they ***** you over . To be honest, you'll just have to work hard to get all your items and gil back . People do it all the time when they return after having left and given everything away - I had to do it myself .
