hi, i'm returning to ffxi after 3 years, and after getting in contact with an old friend on this server, it seems like getting parties might be a little difficult.

i was wondering if:
there actually is large enough a base of lower level people to level with to put up my flag like back in the day, or

there are any linkshells out there with other lower level people that i could look into joining?

whether if either of the above is viable, i look forward to coming back; i'm sure i can make do somehow ^^; and thank you all for your time.`

There are less low level parties than there were back in the day. You may have a hard time seeking and finding a party quickly, but you can usually get a party in a decent amount of time. I know a couple new players that started a few months ago, and were able to get into the 60s with no problem. He lvled mnk to 18, war to 37, and now has sam64. There is a shortage of tank jobs nowadays, so if you really want to secure a pt invite, you could always pick one of them :)
