Hellohello!

After almost 3 months I've decided to come back to FFXI to see how the game has changed after so long and to see if I could find that spark that makes me go out and buy the new expansion. But, 3 months is a long time and my friendlist is now filled with bunches and bunches of offline people! It looks like many folk did the same thing as I did and went away from FFXI.

So, I'm looking for a new team, new friends to meet, maybe a new linkshell? Mainly I'm looking to get into some parties again and get a new feel for the game this month to see if it's as addictive as it used to be.

I was one of the controversial DRK/BLM players but these days I'd be interested in playing anything except White Mage, back before I quit I was training up THF to be a DRK/THF by level 60 but I got pretty tired of soloing and word on the grapevine is THFs have such a hard time getting groups until level 30 ;_;

Okay! So here's my level breakdown:

Black Mage: 40
Warrior: 7
Monk: 5
Red Mage: 3
Thief: 6
Beast Master: 4
Bard: 6
Ranger: 7
Samurai: 10
Ninja: 11
Dragoon: 2
Summoner: 5
Dark Knight: 54 (I love the mix of magic and stabbies! Absorb Dex! Stabstabstab!)

I'm pretty much willing to play any character class combination that'll get me into a group. I'm really not interested in solo play, but if I can find a low level goof-off group to help me get Red Mage up to Valkurm Dunes level, for example, It'd give it the gusto. I can usually play 3-4 nights a week and some daytime play depending on my schedule (Rotating shifts) but I would go out of my way to try to match times with any group willing to give me a shot. Ok? ^_^

Send me a /tell in-game sometime. I love playing in goof-off groups every now and then. It's not uncommon for several people from my LS to team up and do odd things like having the BLM skillchain with the PLD, just for fun. It's a nice break from the usually very serious XP parties, especially when the strange tactics work and we still get better XP than we would in a pick-up party.

Most of my jobs are level 20-30, but I still have a few low-level jobs that I'd be willing to level up a bit if you want to team up. Small low-level parties are a lot more interesting than slowly soloing your way to level 10. If I remember correctly, my low level jobs are currently:

SMN 1 - No Avatars except Carbuncle and Earth Spirit
RNG 1
NIN 5 - I'm very interested in leveling Ninja.
BST 7
BRD 11
PLD 18

Also, my RDM is level 54, if you want to level up your Dark Knight. I'm in no rush to level my Red Mage, so it'll probably be there for a while. I'm having a lot of fun with Warrior lately -- now @700 to 43 after a great party with Sheeba and her gang last night!

Sure! What is your in-game name? I'll write you down and try to find out online sometime ^_^ also feel free to send me a /tel whenever. Ninja is very fun, btw I think you'll enjoy it.

Oh, sorry. My in-game name is simply "Seryn". I think I will like Ninja, and it's an important support job to have leveled for both my Warrior and my Red Mage. I've just been a little hesitant to level it, because I rarely have the gil to raise my Norg fame for Utsusemi, or the gil to blow on Shihei, not to mention all the other powders you need to be a really good ninja. In a way, I'm kind of hoping that the change to Utsusemi and AOE attacks makes Ninja blink-tanks a little less desireable.

Thanks! Smiley: smile I thought you recognized me at first, but then I wasn't sure by the end of the night... I don't know if you remember or not, but I also came along to help Karg get his Eldieme Necropolis coffer key. I think you were there as your monk, kicking some undead ***.

No worries about the level. It would have been nice to level up last night, but it doesn't really make a difference. 700 XP yesterday, or 700 XP today, it's still 700 XP. You were tired, and real life is always more important. I had a great time last night. I'd love to level with you guys again sometime!

Oh wow, who is this? Send me an in-game /tell sometime!

I left the crusaders back when some political stuff was going on and one guy was strutting around like a big mother goose O_O; -but that was months and months ago, I'd be nice to see familiar faces again.
