I'm Robbeh on Ragnarok, and I'm trying to pay for my Goldsmithing, and I can't even afford the Fire Crystals.
I really REALLY want to level it, so I can only ask for your help.
I request that you guys please send any Spare Fire Crystals / Gil that you have, so that I can level it. I don't know if I can pay you back, but I am really trying to stay in this game, and crafting is the only thing that really interests me right now.

if i may give a piece of advice...
if you're really interested in crafting, & dun have any money, Goldsmithing is prob. the worst choice for ya. Nearly ne other craft, 'sides Blacksmithing, is pwetty cheap ta lvl, & done wisely, ya can actually end up wit profit.
If ya really wanna lvl a craft that makes non-consumables (i.e. not a craft that makes slow-but-steady sellers, like Cooking or Alchemy), id recommend Woodworking or Clothcraft. Each can be lvl'd wit a small fraction of the gil it will take ya ta lvl Goldsmithing.
Good luck! Crafting is 1 of the most fun parts of the game IMO :)

Heh... I have been trying to level Goldsmithing for my entire stay here in FFXI. You want money, best I would say is mine your own ores, or take a less expensive tradeskill. Honestly it took me 200k to get 3 levels post 40. And I highly doubt people are really going to donate that much stuff and money to you, no offense of course... goodness knows I am struggling enough with my skills (havent touched anything but fishing in the past month)
Cooking to insect paste I think is a good bet... unfortunatly Arag. was taken over by beastmen... good thing I horde my corn tee hee.

If you're lookin 4 gil, however, id recommend, takin up Harvesting. Ya can use whateva ya get ta lvl your Clothcraft skill, & AH/bazaar the rest 4 extra gil!

Cydille: He is also in my linkshell. So I am asking him to cool his posts, because I don't want him reflecting poorly on the rest of the linkshell. I didn't think that his post was productive, or helpful in anyway, and only hurtful. If too much of this occurs, then I will not have it reflecting on my LS anymore.
