so i havnt played ffxi in maybe 4-5 years and from playing i see alot has changed, recently just started looking to work a black mage also eventually would like to work a pld/rdm but that is besides the point. Im looking for a mentor that may be able to help me out show me some updated things in game or atleast point me in the right direction for the things i need to know

Any NM that has heavy magic use? It's in all honesty a very versatile job combo for those times that magic defense is more important than shadows, plus it has a couple more hate tools at it's disposal over /nin.
