I know this might add to the confusion a bit but...

Due to the extreme difficulty of farming and killing gods in the same day, not to mention cramped between JP time and DS farm time, Deskjet has decided to expand our sky times.

Point two; because Deskjet has a relatively large EU membership we can't just say we'll farm a night, or because of the NA members we can't just say we'll farm a morning/day (NA time).

We will be doing 2 smaller runs into sky during 4 hour blocks
Monday 12:00-16:00est - For EU members
Thurs 20:00-24:00est - For NA members

I've already talked with Pika about sharing time with them and we have our own agreement. I have yet to talk to Caffeine yet about Thurs but because we start much later in the evening I think we can probably arrange something as well. Feel free to message me in game or post on here for extra input.

PS- We will continue to do our Gods at our usual Sunday time.

I figure I might post this on HydraCorps (Dynamis ls), although I never see the purpose of having us linked on Allak =P

Kara's gone through a slight change in leadership. Insomnia, the previous leader, has started attending college and doesn't really have time for FFXI anymore. While Insom hasn't completely quit the game, he's currently not doing any endgame events, so the new leader is Paulee (who was previously a sack holder). Nothing else has changed. ^^

DestinySeekers allrdy farms Sunday nights, unless you are planning to Farm against them and start more competition i would look into a better day.

That still wont work

Deskjet Farms in the afternoon(EST) And these NMs have 4-6 hour pop times, so by the time DJ finishes and we go up, thats about when the NMs are reset.

I was under the impression that it was decided that our farming days would be on Monday morning (for the EU peeps) and Thursday nights (for the NAs). Sunday would be just for killing gods.

I dont know what to tell you guys....Ive talked to a few LS leaders already and no matter what day or time we want to go up there seems to be a conflict. We choose Sunday afternoons because according to the Schedule on this site it was free and when we went last week Sunday at that time there wasnt any other LS's there to bump heads with.

As far as Deskjet they have already claimed a day on Mondays and Thursdays according to the schedule. If they farm Mondays and Thursdays already let us farm Sundays.
The time we have set only allows us 3 hours before DS gets there while other LS's have 5-8 hours a day and some have 2 days.

Ive tried my best to avoid any drama or added competition up in sky by bending around all your set days and times but we can only bend so much.

Ill be more then happy though to talk to the leader of Deskjet or any other leaders to work something out though.

Yea I was told that there are other LS's after Singularity that farm so saturdays are full. If I was misinformed I would be happy to take the Saturday afternoon or evening time slot if open.

Since there isnt any free time on Sundays as I thought Ill have to say that Deskjet if you still want sundays fine but to be fair to any new commers you shouldnt have 3 days while others are forced to have 1.

Again Im not trying to cause any trouble here but I just want things to be fair and reasonable.

We are a NA LS so we cant take any of the early morning slots or midnight slots that are open.

DJ usually goes to 3 PM EST at latest as far as our agreement usually went, sticking around a bit longer for BB and Olla, but went in a set order so that we could target repops as they happen.

I do not know of any particular shell farming after Sin. We are usually done by around 4-5pm est. However with so many new shells popping up without even the decency to post here or make official contact with the older LS its becoming harder and harder to keep track.

DJ should consider keeping a sky look-out for a week to gather some intel on this ^^

Here's what we're looking at:

Monday [12 PM EST-4 PM EST*] (mainly for our EU members) - Hope Ulli pops in the 2 hours we're given. If not well too bad we don't do Byakko that week (trust me, we're used to it). Water party, Ulli, Curtana, Despot, and possibly Zip and SC are also done then. The whole point of us trying to get another day was for Ullikummi. We have no problem getting the other NMs.

*with the exception of leaving Ullikummi camp by 2 PM EST

Thursday[8 PM EST-12 AM EST] (mainly for our NA members) - We have 3 hours to farm Ullikummi (since we agreed with another LS that we would stop farming him at 11 PM EST) and get MG/Faust/anything we missed Monday. This week Caffeine was up there after 8 PM EST farming him still, stating that we had to leave and that we aren't allowed to farm him at that time. On top of this, 2 OTHER NA LS's decided to farm during our time. Hmm. I'm starting to see a pattern.

These two days alone would be more than ample if 1) Certain LS's would abide by the sky pact and not farm during another LS's time 2) Certain LS's would stop dictating what we can and cannot farm during our time in sky.



As for a God day...Sunday is really the only time we can gather our NA and EU members for events such as Kirin and the lesser Gods. Early hours Sunday were usually spent farming Ullikummi (to no avail). We had no problem getting the other pop items. However, Ullikummi has been consistantly denied to us. Most of the times we have gotten her stone is out of sheer luck (ie, someone from an exp PT out lots other members and receives it). Otherwise out of the 4-5+ months DJ has been in sky, we have only been able to pop Ullikummi (due to dictated time constraints) 2 times total. That simply will not do.

We are given the options of doing Kirin, the 4 (usually 3...) mini-Gods, or more farming for make up items. Sunday is the one time we can gather our EU members and NA members together in full force to do these things, anyhow.

Otherwise this is how I see it:

Monday (1/4) + Thursday (1/4) + Sunday (1/2) = 1 day a week like most LS's.

It seems they are not willing to give up Sunday. Im going to try and find out the situation on Saturdays after Singularity. But if its already full then Im hoping at least 1 LS will be willing to work with us on getting us a time slot.

Sep 25, 2005: Apparently a lot of stuff has been going on in the last 5 days. Double check this list here (same as main page), and let me know if I forgot someone.
BTW, I was just checking old posts, and I don't have a day for Overkill. They never actually picked a day, turns out it was just starting at 2000 PDT. If anyone knows if Overkill still exists, post here please.

With the recent disbanding of StarWars, I would like to let everyone know that Akaitski will be farming past 9pm EST on Wednesday, We will start as early as 3pm EST. Our Gods day will not change, Saturday 7pm EST. We wish StarWars members the best and hope to see them join one of the many other good linkshells on this server.
