Wow... Its nice to be recognized. I think we all would have been turned off by this game if we had more bad experiences than good ones. I thought I would write a thing or two about some cool people I've crossed paths with in the game.
Eragon: I've partied with him a couple times (once in that Lag Hell Crawlers Nest), and he's just a blast. Great player, knows his job, and really fun to hang with.
Osiris: This guy is the definition of Paladin. Alway wearing up to date equipment (sorry for the annoying checks!), selfless, fearless, hate building machine. I've seen him help out people with some quests here and there, so he's quite friendly. He's given me a hand in a few quests as well. He totally manages the hate, keeps the parties safe, and keeps the big exp chains rolling. The secret is out (oops!).
Cyrelius: This gentleman is the Hero and Saint of the Valcurm Dunes from about a month and a half ago. Probably one of the most friendly, nicest, selfless players I've run across. He has escorted me and many other players across those bloody dunes many times in those early levels when it is so dangerous. He has helped me out with a few time consuming quests just for fun. I haven't seen him around in sometime, however, so what ever he is up to in the real world, I hope he's doing well.

Seriously. This guy is AWESOME. I was taking my sister around the Crags, and we were on the boat. (She's level 11, and I'm still level 18.) Sea Horror appeared and killed just about everyone. All the while I was thinking, "Man...we paid 100 gil to get on this boat, and we'll have to go back to our homepoint in Buburimu..."
However, when our dead bodies were dumped on the dock, this guy was there to Raise everyone who had died. Did he just Raise? Nope. He cast Protect (insert number here) and Shell (insert number here) on us all as well. Lots of WHMs do that, right? Well, that's not all...he also waited until every single one of us was out of Weakened state and Cure III'd us! If that's not awesome, I don't know what is.

i just wanted to tell you about a really awesome player, my buddy Seii. he is just a really excellent player and great guy. he is very knowledgeable about the game. he is a 59 blm and always has his gear updated. he took a break from the game because he was sort of getting bored but now he is back and i hope he stays. he is always looking for good parties. he has been doing BCNM. please invite him if you see him. you won't regret it. i don't get to party with him as much as i wish because he is much higher lvl than me -_- but he helps me out a lot.

Winternights - i dont know how often he has helped me and others, it is countless times and since others already mentioned him, i give him my credits, too.

-Crippled is in my most recent LS I joined...CactuarParagons... man, sometimes the I end up laughing out loud with the randomness we come out with in that LS, it rocks :D
-Baxta: Cool friend of mine, first fellow UK player I met when we were both low level newbs in windy... so long ago... Baxta rules :D When UK release comes, we're both hoping to get a bunch of members for our LS UKPeaceParty... So any UK players out there...give me a shout so I can force a pearl on you ^_^
-Lonewolf is great, hilarious to see his gargantuan trains of quads he grabs in palboroigh before he wastes them, and a pile of quads are slumped at his feet XD
-Marverics is possibly one of the nicest guys ever, really friendly and always trying to help out :)

For a while he and Gerran were going all out to help with AF gear quests, and that went on for the better part of a week or so. He's always been a very nice, laid back person when I've been online.

He was leveling BST in tahrongi canyon if i remember correctly. he sees an NM and decides to solo it. after a while i heard him said "SOMEONE TELEPORT-MEA AND KILL IT!". to me, i thought someone teleported to mea and killed the NM from him. resulting a steal-killing. i responded with a "..." because i feel sorry for that guy but he insulted me with a "@#%^ YOU!" @#%^ this, @#%^ that, and other words even though there are minors playing this game and Misviller said many times to watch our language because of her childrens. so i told him that i misunderstood what he said about the "call for help" and called him a jackass at the end. he finally shut up and mind his own business.

thats the last time im on PSchan. seeing some people being his friend, and couldnt stand this kind of sh*t anymore, i decided to ignore him and everyone else by breaking the linkpearl. seeing theres no use in me staying there.
as i said before, he did an EXCELLENT job in making me leave. starts random sh*t with me. making me pissed off (my anger management is terrible as some people know), and being good friends with everyone else. so... whats the point in me staying? or even, keep playing FFXI?

lol Flowmaestro (the first post) i was in that party, i tried finding everyone the next night, but couldnt and had to leave eventually. But yeah Matsui is a really cool guy.

My Allakhazam name implies otherwise, but I'm Kohan from Pandemonium. I'm flattered that anyone's bothered to mention me, considering how little I've really done. The least I can do is mention some good friends and partying buddies in return, but even that is hard to do, for I'll feel guilty if I forget anyone! ^^;
Salya, for one, is my roommate, and a rather friendly White Mage. As a member of my static leveling party, I'm lucky that I get to play with her all the time, considering her incredibly competent spellcasting and what not. Definitely a very good player, who often helps people out with quests and what not. ^^
The other members of my static party are Tacitus, Davidbrent, Decan, and Robynbanks. Tacitus is hardly ever around, since he has a lot of real life responsibilities, but he can say some hilarious things when you see him. ^^ He's really cool to be friends with, but don't mess with the man, or you'll get burned. /laugh
Davidbrent is indeed an absolutely fabulous PLD, and we're very lucky not only to have him in our static party, but also, in our LS (although he has a few of them). ^^ He's undoubtedly the best tank I've ever partied with, as he fits the honorable title to a T.
Decan is another fun fellow to be with, and the DRG of our static. Whenever things are going slowly and he hasn't much to do, he'll help people with questing, finding places, and he'll save other people from peril if he can, too. In fact, basically all of the people in my static party are very noble sorts, and I feel honored to be able to PT with them. ^^
Here's a list of other people I know on Pandemonium, but I'm sure I'll forget some. Please forgive me if I've forgotten you, because I didn't do it on purpose... I just know so many people! ^^;

Sadly, my PlayOnline isn't working currently, and all the reinstalling and tweaking in the world isn't fixing it... le sigh. Seems I'll need to replace my video card...

Where to start?
Tacitus - RL Great friend of mine and one of those guys that will make you wet yourself when you arn't even expecting it. With his dry humor and great personality you can't have a better SAM in your party then this guy.
Lexiriam - LEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This little taru is just about the nicest guy on the server! Lex helped me out from almost day one since i was just but a weee little nooblet. If he is on he is always willing to help out people and make sure other people are having a great time!
Kohan and Salya - What to say about these two... Other then the fact that they spend most of their day giving me hell, this game (to me at least) just wouldn't be the same without these two. They are the reason I am sitting pretty with rank 5 and will always make sure i am never left too far behind.
Robynbanks - ROBY!!!!! This girl has it in her to be the mother of our LS. She is always making sure that everyone is having a good time and that everyone gets along. She is a total sweetheart and will do just about anything to help another player out.
Cyranda - This BLM is the sole reason why i had RSE at lvl 34. Never once has she let me down. It seems that whenever i need her she is always there as my big bad BLM. She is also a sweetheart and is always willing to help out.
The entire Shade and The Shadows (one in the same) LSs are the reason why i have played this game for so long. Without these people i would have said screw it after my free 30 day trial. If you ever see any of these people in the game, make sure to give them a quick wave. These people are very good people and great players that make Pandemonium one the best servers out there! Later guys!

i know i've posted on here before, but i just keep meeting more and more people on pandy that are just really really cool...
i finally convinced my g/f to try the game out, and now she's totally addicted!
her char name is Jujubee, so if you ever see her, send her a friendly /wave or /cheer.
anyways she was lvling her blm in wsaru when someone examined her.. she told me it was aizenmyou.. i think or something around that.. he asked if she needed help, but she didnt know what he was talkin about, so he followed her around, and giving her cures... and all she could do was thank him and bow.. she didnt know much else to do... she got a free PL from a random stranger! after he left, she met someone called phonyphreak, i prolly misspelled it, who gave her another PL to lvl 6 i believe.. and helped her out w/ sorting items and whatnot..
to those two people i am grateful.. because i was at work during that time, and was not able to help her myself..
so /bow to you two..
the next day.. as she was almost lvl 7.. another taru named muffin came by.. examined her, and proceeded to trade w/ her.. he gives her a fishermans tunica and gloves, carbon fishing rod, sabiki rig, two scrolls (forgot which ones, but they're low lvl blm scrolls), and 2k!! i think thats just the coolest thing ever..
sorry that this post is long.. but i had to explain the exact reason as to why these people are very cool.. thank you to all of you who have given my g/f a great pandy welcome.. now she's so addicted, i cant even play anymore!! LOL
