I blame Iris.

I was a bit disappointed at the lack of Hamill though I may have built that one up and did it to myself, but then I had all those feels for the reveal with Wells and RIP Cisco, much tears but then they ruined it completely with Barry and Iris kissing so I'm left with just disappointment. The time travel thing is interesting, and hopefully brings Cisco back and makes the kiss never happen.

Poor iZombie. It looks like a show I'd normally like. CSI meets comic logic meets zombies. Bad time slot.

The preview info with Hamill made me think it was just going to be a "bad guy of the week" bit. And would take place after the Weather Wizard.

Cisco knew he was ****** the moment he saw Wells standing. I'm sure the only reason they killed him off so easily was because of the time travel, and what ever Barry ends up doing will make this time line void and Cisco will not die.

Edit:
Something still doesn't add up...

Wells is the Reverse Flash, and Eobard Thawne.
He used after images and a projection/recording to create the Reverse Flash in the field.

But who attacked him in his house? I could see him "faking" the aftermath of the attack to trick everyone, but he was actually attacked when he was alone, no one around that he needed to fake it for.

Is Future-Barry still buzzing around present time, occasionally ******* with Wells? That doesn't really fit, in my opinion.

Are you familiar with the movie, Speed?

I saw during the commercials, Arrow is mentioning the Suicide Squad. Deadshot has already been in Arrow. I thought they killed him off though. I didn't pay much attention to Season 2, I guess. Because apparently Suicide Squad was a part of it. They did have a Harley Quinn appearance. Voiced by Tara Strong (though, the body show was not her). I don't know if they are going to bring her in fully? Probably not.

But obviously the Arrow Suicide Squad won't be the same as the Suicide Squad movie Suicide Squad.

Edit:
Reading through a few plot summaries, I do remember the Suicide Squad of Arrow now.

Now I can't wait for next week. I hope this happens.

I prefer Arleen Sorkin's Harley to Tara Strong's.

Since they have featured the "Vibrate my body thru things" ability of Wells I am wondering if Wells is going to push the team with hints to give Barry a way out of the bomb situation.

I did like the contrasting scenes from the two realities at the containment field with Wells and Cisco.

Mark Hamill: "It's in your blood."
Me: "He's going to say it..."
Few more lines
Me: "Oh come on, say it already!"
Few more lines
Mark Hamill: "I am your father."
Me: "Finally!"

Good episode. And it looks like the rest of the season is going to be really heavy on the Arrow crossovers. Including Atom, which holds hope for that character, if they can tear him away from Arrow and use the Flash to add some much needed extraordinary-ness to him. Laurel/Black Canary can stay away though, she's too far gone to be interesting.

The only thing wrong with this episode was that it ended. Well, that and it was hampered by the "villain-of-the-day" formula which made it feel rushed. Hamil makes such a great villain. The whole wild eyed look and his voice and mannerisms. Star Wars was the fluke in his acting career as far as I'm concerned. I hope he comes back time and time again.

I haven't watched Arrow, but what I've read on sites-that-shall-not-be-named is that so far he's basically just Iron Man. I can live without that.

Oh, and yes I was totally stoked at the spoilered scene. Smiley: grin

I talked about it here, earlier. Take away the shrinking, and all the Atom is, is Iron Man. Make him an Arrow character, and you can't give him any shrinking.

This episode appeared to answer questions, but in the end it just created more. There still has to be a third speedster floating around in this time. Someone attacked Eobard-Wells in his home.

As Hamil was sitting in his cell talking, I couldn't help but hear the Joker talking. I kept waiting and hoping for his high pitch laugh to come out. Sadly, that never happened. I know the Joker's laugh really shouldn't have happened, but it would have been fantastic to see and hear. I do hope that there are more episodes with Hamil. I thought he was a really fun villain this week.

Next Week's episode of Arrow continues with the Flash/Arrow cross over. This time rather than one of the good guys from Flash visiting Arrow, it's the bad guys.

One of Flash's Meta-Humans (complete with Energy/Plasma Blasts) visits Arrow, and the Arrow and Atom have to team up to stop him...

I wonder if this Arrow/Flash heavy team up means that Arrow really is going to try and adopt some of the more "extraordinary" aspects of it's Flash spin-off.

I've heard rumblings that they killed off Deadshot from the show because the studios didn't want to confuse people when the Suicide Squad comes out, which if true is kind of a bad sign for Ollie and Barry should they be moved up to the movies.

And damn it, I like Flash.

They really made Ray as ditzy as Felicity in this cross over. I was hoping that someone in Star Labs, Cisco maybe, would push Ray towards a shrinking technology...

Edit:
I didn't even realize that was Beth Greene...

Is Ray mildly autistic? I expected half the conversations he had during the episode to lead into discussions about potatoes. When he introduced himself to the Flash gang I heard it in Barry's voice from American Dad. ("The bees can't sting through my armor."

But half your face is exposed in it ...
) I mean he seems like a nice enough guy awkward as he is, and his bargain bin Iron Man costume is neatish I guess. At least they kind of hinted at miniaturization with the bees. I'm surprised neither he or Cisco figured out flight stabilizers, and some water proofing. I feel bad for Cisco. I'm not sure if experiencing an event and getting PTSD is better or worse than getting PTSD over an event that never really took place. He does need to stop dying, though. I volunteer Iris to take his place.

Bees.

They changed Ray a lot from when they first introduced him. And then even more so in this episode of Flash.

When they first introduced him he was charismatic and well spoken. And came off as a threat to the Arrow group before they uncovered his real motives. Then he changed to a well meaning but incapable do-gooder.

In this Flash episode though he was as ditzy as Felicity. It's like he absorbed her personality through his penis. I was hoping that the crossovers in the upcoming episodes would leak some of the Flash qualities into the Arrow characters and story and improve it greatly.

So, do you watch it on the CW? Or do you have another source? I'm stuck out of town and this hotel doesn't have CW...

I didn't have The Flash to watch, so I tuned into ABC early for SHIELD.

What ever this "Repeat After Me" show is... it's just horrible. And the host, I think she was on Reno 911, and was my least favorite character...

I usually see the last few "suggestions" during the credit roll when switching between Flash and SHIELD.

Spoilered, at your own risk. Kind of a weak episode. Had to use an annoying cliche to make the story flow. Everyone's IQ is halved when dealing with shapeshifters. Shapeshifter changed shape in an EMPTY room with only Barry around and Barry hesitated like somehow the person Everyman changed to was the real person. I think I may have punched myself at how ridiculous that was. Also Everyman touched a little girl.

Turns out the CW puts their episodes up on their website less than 24 hours later. So I just watched it on the CW today after work.

All that technology, and Wells apparently didn't have a simple handprint biometric lock on the door?

Dude's smart, I imagine he's already figured out that Barry and crew have at least some suspicion of him at this point. I think he's purposely revealing himself. Leaving the door unlocked, describing the whole vibrating thing.

Some relevant news. High school athlete that hurt himself and now works as a mechanic sounds like Cyborg to me. Though I guess my not really knowing the more obscure characters does limit my theories.

Booyah! I'm all for adding Cyborg.

Cisco's hard-on for the Black Canary was fun. Now she has her "Cry". I still don't care for Laurel, though. But maybe there is still a chance of NPH showing up as Music Meister? It really would fit in nicely with the recent crossovers. I don't plan on holding my breath though. It seems something like that wouldn't stay secret for too long...

Edit:
I am a bit bummed that they haven't moved with Grodd yet. They've spent a lot of time on the cross overs, and had a lot more Atom in Flash than they have Grodd. Must be saving him for next season or something?

Edit2:
Music Meister is a character exclusive to that one episode of Brave and the Bold, right? Not something they'll have to fight with various studios over the rights to?

Nah, he's been around since the silver ages. DC doesn't (seem to, anyway) have the same issues with their IPs as Marvel does, since they only work with Warner Brothers.

I'd be all for NPH Meister. We know Barry is a good singer, how is the Black TrCanary?
