New season? Half season continuation? I've lost track. Anyway, Feb 9th, which is this Sunday if I somehow messed up the date. So as a minor recap, we have broken jail, dead Herschel and Governor, I'm saying dead baby but some people disagree, Carol is banished but I bet innocent, psycho kids, and the group thrown to the wind and separated. On side note, Andrea and Lori still dead so all is right in the world. Except the zombies.

Why do you think Carol is innocent? She admitted to killing the infected to Rick.

Thanks for the reminder. Can't wait for it. Smiley: smile

I think she was too quick to admit it and showed no remorse for it, and that isn't her personality. What would be in line with her personality would be to cover for the two little girls, though. And Rick's investigation was sloppy as hell since he didn't even think twice to ask about the incident with the rats and the fence almost toppling. I think its the girls because they don't seem to quite get the grasp that the walkers are zombies, but they certainly didn't have much problem shooting the living people who, admittedly weren't good guys either. I think they were feeding the zombies, and the two sick people questioned them about it, or just a psycho sense of priorities or something. Something is definitely off with them, though. They make more sense as the culprits to me than Carol.

Of course this is all speculation, even considering these characters (kind of) aren't in the books so take it with a grain of salt or two.

"Carl is a ****" only lasted one episode, which I think we can all agree is for the best. Great background for Michonne, maybe a little more than even the books. Been a while for me on that front admittedly. Next week's episode looks exciting, even if they smash all over the "Asians can't drive" cliche.

Overall, welcome back Kotter Walking Dead.

Oh, and zombie Herschel head. That was sad.

Liked the episode but some details slightly threw me off. The 'coma' Rick was in did not make much sense to me. I have virtually no medical experience/knowledge but is this really how this works?
Also, Michonnes camouflage tactic... really? Two walkers on a leash and somehow the ones behind here, with nothing between them and her, can't sense her? (I know she did this before, but still.)

I think Rick just passed out for a day. He had been shot, beaten up, almost choked to death, then had to limp around a few miles & scrounge for food. He was also emotionally drained, so his body probably just said ********** it" & went to sleep for a bit. Thank Christ he didn't start talking to dead Lori on the phone again (which he does at this point in the comic, again).

It was also established quite early on that Zombies will mostly ignore you if you smell like zombie. It was neat to see Michonne "shut down" again, & even neater to see a glimpse as to why she did. Nice of her to decide not to be part of the Walking Dead again.

I know we're going to play catchup with the rest of team Rick next week, but since that'll probably touch on everyone else besides Rick, Carl, & Michonne I expect it to jump around quite a bit.

I predict we'll see the return of it once things settle down. Lori will tell him how she and the baby are in a better place and such.

Passing out at this point is quite understandable. I just found it curious how he didn't wake up when being shaken by his son. He had been sleeping for 8-12 hours by then. Depending on how long Carl slept and how long he ate/read.

Ugh yeah, surely can do without more ghostphoning.

I got that. But it made sense when they smeared themselves in zombie-guts in the first season. Walking in the vicinity of some zombies makes less sense (to me) since then you would be invisible to them as soon as you stand in the midst of their group. At least the walkers behind her and to her sides should have smelled Michonne since she didn't block them with her 'bodyguards'.

I think its just an issue with something that kind of works in a still panel but not quite as well when animated.

Kind of disappointed being wrong about the baby, but if there was any doubts about the little girl's mental state should be cleared. So no one of any significance is gone. Nice of them to bring back Carol so quickly.

Also ************* yeah Abraham! That means it's almost baseball season. Smiley: sly[/spoiler]

Much better episode than the mid-season premier. Answers were to be had, no one really did anything out of character, & I audibly exclaimed "YAY!" on at least two occasions. Terminus does not sound like it will be a good time, though.

Abraham and Eugene Smiley: thumbsup

That was one sad, and pink, room. Think those were Negan's men? The man himself isn't supposed to show up in season 4, but that doesn't mean his crew can't make an appearance or two.

Why don't they teach Eugene proper shooting? One would think that's a valuable skill in a zombie-infested world. Smiley: lol

Oh Eugene will be the new TV Andrea for most likely a long time. Get used to disliking him, despite his smarts.

So, there's a good chance they botch this up, too, and he'll become a fan favourite? Smiley: lol

More on topic: While I didn't mind it for the 3 episodes after the prison, I'd like it if it won't take long before what's left of the group unites again.

The impression I got was the man wasn't as smart as he made his buddies there think. Like an idiot that thinks he's smart. Just the way he was talking.

So, those guys that met up with Daryl were the same dudes that stormed Rick's "house". Also, Daryl in the mortuary was awesome. Sasha played Andrea this episode, I hope that doesn't continue.

Apparently she's like... 28 years old..

Pretty white girls, gotta be a valuable commodity in the apocalypse.

But really, she keeps her skin smooth and clean throughout most of the series. Without her handbag filled with lotions and soap, how is she going to survive?
