The first episode of Log Horizon was alright, but I dunno if I'd really want to watch more?

Trust me, the later episodes will meet your standards and even explain why they're at level 90. It's definitely better than SAO's second season, and the pacing is better than the first's.

Saw Pupa ep1. I had no clue they were going for that format. It's not going to be good, but it's going to be funny.

I just watched ep 1 and 2.
It might go places. 1st episode really didn't make any sense, but you learn what Space Dandy does (searches out alien species that have not been identified, for money).
2nd was about Ramen.
There is a "bad" group, guy looks like a Pimp (in space!) after Dandy but why is unknown still.
Cartoon Boobs.
I laughed and enjoyed both episodes, but then I am a fan of FLCL and weird animes.

I would disagree. I think it would be fairly accurate to describe Space Dandy as Redline's character design with Excel Saga's jokes (space and time has even been used as deus ex machina again).
The art and animation is quite good, but I think the humor is a little too low brow.
Yeah. Admittedly it's only been two episodes, but Space Dandy seems a lot more like Excel Saga than FLCL so far.

Watched ep 1 of Chuu2 Ren, looking like it might be ok even though I'm kinda sad they made a sequel. We'll have to see. The first ep did at least do a good job of reminding me why I liked the first season.

It makes sense from a marketing perspective. viewing solely as a person consuming a media product though, I found the first episode hilarious because I guess it distilled for me frustrations I have with many other stories. Certain events needed to happen, and due to lack of time they couldn't even *pretend* for them to occur organically. Events just happen because the plot demands it. I also find the proportion of time devoted to the OP and ED to be amusing.
Yeah, that needs to be abridged, you are already on a clock with these micro episodes. A minute intro and outro really chop down your ~5m short work-space.
