Rumors have been circulating around the internet for the past decade or so of an episode of Dexter's Lab that was never shown on air - it allegedly featured the main characters swearing like sailors.

Called "Dexter's Rude Removal," It was kept under pretty heavy lock and key, and apparently only shown once or twice at cons. Well, until they decided to go ahead and release the video on the adult swim youtube channel.

It's worth a watch if you've got 10 minutes or so. SFW.

I thought I commented on this, but apparently I went full ******. it's a shame shows like this got axed. I used to enjoy Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo, and even Cow and Chicken was enjoyable. It's not like there aren't any good shows on CN anymore (Adventure Time and Regular Show), but they're few and far between. This episode was hilarious and I'm glad they finally unsealed it, even though it's been circulating for years now if you knew where to look.

When Dexter's Lab was on, it always seemed that I could turn on CN and more often than not, there was a program on that I'd enjoy. Maybe I'm just an old fogey now, but tht isn't the case for me anymore. Like you said, there are still some good shows on there, but network-wide the overall quality, or at least my enjoyment, has certainly dropped.

They have to cater to the Bieber generation and below, of course the quality has gone to ****. Of course the guys that grew up on the original run of Looney Toons probably said the same thing about our generation.

Best Dexter's Lab episode ever, in my opinion, is still "The Big Cheese".

I have often thought that myself. There for awhile they were bringing back alot of 80's stuff though. Had the new ghostbuster game, a new TMNT show, Gi Joe, etc.

Maybe. 80's cartoons were **** though. I mean, you might watch a few minutes of He-Man or Silverhawks or whatever out of nostalgia but they get old REAL fast. The God awful "arcade" cartoons: Q*Bert, Pitfall, Pac-Man... Even the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon sucks in retrospect. Transformers and Real Ghostbusters -- that's about the limits of decent cartoons from that era. I'm talking Western stuff; imports of Voltron and Robotech were obvious better than Beverly Hills Teens.

Most of the actual classics I remember from my youth were actually older cartoons. WB stuff, Woody Woodpecker, Tom & Jerry and then the 50's/60's stuff like Tennessee Tuxedo, Underdog, Super Chicken, George of the Jungle, etc.
