Seems it started this week. Here's the TVTropes listing. Anything standing out as something you'll have to watch?

For me, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha sounds intriguing. Here's why:
Quote:
Spiritual Successor: To Spice And Wolf, down to the anime adaptation having mostly the same animation team and voice actors as the latter's adaptation, though to a more epic scale.

Shown Their Work: Many of the Demon Queen's technological innovations are based on real-life ones like crop rotation, to the point where the exact system discussed was identical to that which played a crucial role in the British Agricultural Revolution. When discussing techniques for growing potatoes in barren lands, she selects dead fish as fertilizer ("sacrifice", as she terms them), which has real-life truth due to their high nitrogen content which helps fertilization in sandy soil. The supporting characters also have very in-depth knowledge of politics, macroeconomics, military tactics, organized religion, immigration, social welfare and human rights.
That sounds awesome to me.

Vividred Operation also sounds like something I might enjoy, even though all I know about it is from the description on the linked page above.

Edit: A new Minami-ke season makes me happy and hopeful that I'll see a US release of the rest of the series. It's probably a fool's hope, but I'll cling to it nonetheless.

I read a little of the manga but lost interest in it but still the anime might come across better then the manga did so I'll give it a shot. Not much else really jumps out at me for the winter season and only Date a Live seems interesting coming in the spring season but only cause I read a bit of the manga adapted from the light novel.

Only ones that caught my eye were Maoyuu Maou Yuusha (which I believe I read as a manga, though it was incomplete) and Nekomonogatari (Kuro).

Was hoping to see a third season of The World God Only Knows Smiley: frown But I guess they only announced that they're starting work on it in December, so we have a while to wait...

I'm just happy to hear that they're working on it. I hadn't heard anything for a while and was getting nervous.

Chihayafuru was really good, so the second season is probably more of the same.

If you like action/shonen, the Zettai Karen Children spin-off will probably be interesting. I don't know if watching the first series is required, but I doubt it.

Nekomonogatari (Kuro) has already been subbed and it is as awesome as you think it will be if you haven't watched it yet.

Finally, I thought the first season of Boku wa Tomodachi was amusing and better than a lot of the shows in the same genre (harem/comedy), but that might just be me.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha does sounds intriguing, but only in comparison to the rest of the list.

There is a lot of Slice of Life on that list.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha seems worth watching, Tamako Market seems like Romeo and Juliet in modern day Japan, and for a second I thought the image posted for Vividred Operation had Homura from Madoka in it.

Pretty much this. Everything on that list looks pretty meh.

Watched the first of Maoyuu Maou Yuusha and it does seem to come across better and was interesting enough to keep me watching a bit more.

Should clear em out in time for spring. A couple good looking ones coming out then, it seems.

It's only been one episode, but I'm liking Maoyuu Maou Yuusha so far. It could be pretty interesting.

Also, that bit at the end of the episode where it turns out her horns were really just stuck onto a headband was freaking hilarious.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha had a hilarious first ep. Second ep was decent, but not great. Definitely going to be sticking with it though.

Yeah. The second episode wasn't as interesting but I'll still keep watching. I wonder if anyone will ever have a name, or will they all just call one another by title the whole time. It struck me as a bit odd that everyone kept calling him "Hero" the whole time even though there were supposed to be hiding who they were.

I also watched the first episode of Vividred Operation. It was kind of fun in that silly magical girl kind of way (nonsensical transformation sequence and everything.) I'll definitely watch the next episode at least.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha is weird. Another episode of absolutely nothing happening and yet I feel compelled to keep watching watching anyway.

I liked the second episode of Vividred Operation too. It's been a while since I've watched a just plain mindlessly fun magical girl series.

Watched two episodes of Kotoura-san. It starts out Smiley: crymore but by the end of the first episode I was hooked. Definitely going to keep an eye on this throughout the season.

Edit: Episode 3 continues to deliver. Someone else watch it, dammit.
