Was (am still) watching Grimm and saw a preview for a reboot of "The Munsters".

Just read the link. It's an actual series?? Ugh. I thought it was just some Halloween thing.

I'll give it a shot just for Eddie Izzard as Grampa, but "darker and edgier" Munsters has already rubbed me the wrong way. Already dealt with that during the 90s with comic books, and that was a nightmare. I can't see it being more successful in tv format.

The Munsters and the Adams Family were far better suited for weekly sitcoms than full length movies. They were good family fun with a bit of a lesson about tolerance.

I watched Dark Shadows this weekend. Not at all the same type of creepiness that was conjured up with the original soap opera, but it was kinda fun. Of course, when isn't Depp gazing fun?
