OK, so I am trying to remember the name of a comic book character. I can't remember what label it was published under, but I'm thinking maybe Image.

All I can remember is that he reminded me of a cross between Fone Bone and Spider-Ham. I think he wore a trench coat.

That's all I've got. I've been Googling all morning trying to remember, but to no avail.

That's the one. Thanks. Smiley: lol

That's the worst, when something that you know you've seen hundreds of times is right on the tip of your tongue, but can't figure out what it is.

Tell me about it. I saw a movie once as a kid, and 20 years later still have not found out what it is called. How I can remember the movie still? I don't know, my brain is weird.

I have here many a times. All movies that have been suggested, that I was able to track down to check out, are never it T.T
But from what I can remember:
- There is a Paladin-like character. A White Knight. iirc he was pretty young.
-There were critters/monsters. Some were good/evil. The Knight was out to help someone (saved the girl I think, or the "land")
-It being old, it either used Puppets (but non of Jim Henson's movies turned out to be it, nor the old story teller show) or how I remember it, stop-go-claymation for the critters/monsters. Kind of like the old, old Jason and the Argonauts.
-The one critter/monster that has always stood out can only be described as: Meatwad (from Aqua Teen), Who had big long arms and short feet. He walked on his hand to get about.
-The scene that sticks out, if it fits this movie, is almost like the scene in Legend. They are in a tower/pit are are trying to bounce light into it. I remember the White Knight using his big shiny shield.

We are talking old. I was probably 5 when I saw the movie, I'm 26. I have guessed at it being in the 80s, probably before 85, but that is just me guessing.

Was the paladin dressed in armor or in "regular" clothes?

I remember him in armor, it being white. But it could have been Tunic like.

But if anything sounds like something, list it. I'll check it out.

Jabberwocky maybe? It wouldn't have been Willow or Labrynth though willow does have a meatball looking thingy in it in a few scenes. Definitly not the neverending story. Elements of Krull fit, but the main guy always wore black. Wouldn't have been "the dark crystal" either. Ladyhawke wouldn't really fit either. 7th Voyage of sinbad prbably wouldn't fit and would have been too old, but elements fit except the two legged meatball thing. Maybe one of the other two sinbad ones fits better? Dragonslayer probably wouldn't fit either. Never liked that movie. Poor dragon. Maybe the origional clash of the titans from 1981. The Sword and the Sorcerer also doesn't have the critters. Beastmaster, conan, etc don't really fit, especially the shield part.

I guess one really important question.was this live action or animated?

Live action.
And the "meatball" thing had 4 limbs, they were just not normal. Only thing I can describe it/him as is like Sebulba from Star Wars (he Pod Races, he used his "feet" as hands, and arms/hands as leg & feet).
I'll look through the movies you listed and see if anything triggers.
From what you listed Kao I know it is not: Willow, Labrynth, Krull, The Dark Crystal. I'll check out the rest (but I think I watched 7t Voyage of Sinbad not too long ago, and it was not it either).

Jabberwocky... it could be, but the only movie I'm finding is the one made with the guy from M.P.

Next question: did the meatball walker have one eye or more than two? Just asking since you said that creature stuck in your mind.

No idea on eyes. And I use Meatball because that is how I can describe it today. The body of this critter was round, I remember it lumpy.

And you saw this movie in the theatre as a new release at some point in the early 90s? Or did you see it at home and it was older?

Oh i saw it at someones house. When I was a kid and eldest son to my parent's friend use to "babysit" us. It was one of them movies he knew I would just sit there and watch, and not have to really do anything to take care of me. '92-'93 would put me at 5-6 and that was when I can remember the last time I saw it.
