I actually thought Bane's voice was the best part of his character. It seemed to fit him well, at least imo.

It kept making me think of Sean O'Connery...

Had the same thought.

Also, Alfred's voice made me think of the Geico gekko. I'm a bad movie-watcher Smiley: frown

After watching the trilogy consecutively over a couple of days I enjoyed Rises a bit more than I did during my initial viewing, for what its worth.

It was decent. I also saw many of the "twists" in advance. There were a lot of continuity holes that were just gaping at the end. I did like nearly everything about Bane. I think that up until the Talia scene, he was the best villain in the series. He completely broke Batman and Bruce Wayne in a way that was just so far beyond anything Ledgers Joker managed.

Wish they'd make a series of Batman movies in the style of the DC Animated Universe, but at the same time, I know that'd never work. They'd have to dub most of the characters since the voice actors don't physically resemble their characters. Smiley: frown

I just want the dark atmosphere from Burton's movies and the characters from the Animated Universe. Most of all, I want a live action version of Harley Quinn! Smiley: drool

Well, there was the live action TV series Gotham Girls that had Dr. Harleen Quinzel who was played by Arleen Sorken, the original voice actress. I never saw the show so I can't really vouch for anything beyond that.

But yeah. Live action Harley Quinn. Smiley: inlove
