I remember reading the first few chapters of the manga before. Pretty sure the girl is dead, as it says so right in the manga description Smiley: tongue. I'll need to re-read it, as I can't remember much about it.

They pretty much do everything short of coming right out and saying so in the first episode.

F'in' A I'm slow today. I downloaded this a couple days ago and haven't watched it yet. Now I have incentive to do so. And to read the manga, since it seems pretty short.

Oh, I misremembered. Just caught up with all the chapters I could find (only 10 are out). It seems like Misaki Mei is NOT the ghost; one of the other students is, but no one knows it. The class picks a "non-existent person" every year to take the place of the ghost and stop the curse. Misaki Mei was that person, but because the main character didn't know about it, he talks to her, which restarts the curse, which will ultimately kill 16 people.

Kinda hard to understand; the translations on the ones I read weren't that great.

Yea, that's Ali Project, same group- they've got a very distinctive sound to all their music.
