On Comedy Central. Two things I realized. First, he's 50 years old now and has an amazing amount of energy and looks younger than me. Second, he's been doing this for more than thirty years and still has what he started with and then some. Like him or not, you have to give him credit for his knowledge of song writing, to be able to parody any type of music.

As a bonus, my little one is dancing and squeaking happily, so all the better.

He was on Comedy Central? What sort of program? I've always loved his song parodies, but don't care his original works too much.

It'll be on again at 11:30 EST. My daughter ran out of energy before he did. Smiley: laugh

He was in concert here Friday night. I am so pissed that I missed it, but my brother offered me tickets, then couldn't follow through. Smiley: glare

I found out about that Thursday night, and was incredibly close to going... but decided $50 was too much since I didn't get paid until the next day :(.

I'm not much of a fan, though I sure did enjoy him when I was younger.

I've got nothing but respect for the guy, though. Listening to him in interviews, he seems like a consummate professional. He's polite and always says nice things about the artists that he spoofs, whether or not they deserve it.

Weird Al was my first of many hundreds of concerts. So many that I've honestly forgotten quite a few shows I've attended. I'll never forget that show (probably because it's one of the few over a span of fifteen years where I wasn't abusing the sh*t out of some substance well before, during, and after the show).
