Not the best episode, but I did like the classic DnD "dragons are hoarders" aspect. Didn't like that we got two Rainbow Dashes and a Spike episode before a Pinkie Pie one. Smiley: mad

I thought it was a good episode. Every of the mane six, King Kong references, Sorcerer's Apprentice music, big Spike was terrifying, holy balls cute scenes (Rarity's dat lip bite).

First new episode of the new year, and I was kind of bored until near the end. I don't know, I kind of like the history lesson episodes. I just don't like the Cutey Mark Crusaders.

Nobody really does.

This episode was a lot of WUT until the end. It's actually quite a bit better upon second viewing, when you realize that all the random nonsense was actually extremely deliberate nonsense.

There has been some controversy about it, but it's been re-instated when someone explained that "derp" is when a normally intelligent person does something silly or has a brain fart, or makes a silly expression. Some non-net savvy parents thought that Derpy was supposed to be mentally handicapped.

No, she's a perfectly intelligent and normal filly who just happens to be wall-eyed, love muffins, and suck as her job as mailman because she's only really good at packing stuff, not delivering it. (Hence the bubble wrap cutie mark!)

This season has been almost entirely Rainbow Dash or CMC episodes. Not at all appealing to me.
