Hasbro is releasing a new set of ponies, and it is epic:

Among them...
- Properly colored Celestia
- Nightmare Moon
- Zecora
- Trixie
- Vinyl Scratch aka DJ P0N-3
- A pony we don't recognize with a FREAKIN INVERTED TRIFORCE (!!)
- Princess Cadence and Shining Armor (Hasbro just trolled the Internet - they'll be sold as a set and get their own episode.)(Princess Cadence is an alicorn... canon has just destroyed fanon once again)

The response on the My Little Pony FB thread has been: Shut up and take my money!

Well, that is the origin of the 'word'/phrase.

Moral of the story: Accept Pinkie Pie's friendship or she'll torture you. Any longer, and she'd have probably made cupcakes out of Cranky and used the bones to make marionettes for a tea party with Madame LeFlour.

I had the pleasure of watching MLP's Dutch dub. Rarity sounds like she's from Belgium, Twilight is just bland, Pinkie sounds b*tchy (voor altiiiiijjjjjd). Spike isn't any good either. Fluttershy was perfect, though.

The point of this post? Nothing, otter than reaffirming most Dutch dubs fail (exception being The Last Airbender)

Edit:

Winter Schoonmaak!

Correction, most of them have a belgian accent. It's terribad. Back to english.

A bit late, I must admit, but still. What's wrong with Belgian accents anyway?

edited to add: I only found out there was a new MLP show going on through Something Positive. It didn't seem all that positive though.

My roommates and I just spent the last hour trying to decide which of the Mane Six(+Spike) best fits which of the Seven Deadly Sins. Some of them seem pretty obvious(Gluttony, for instance), but we're having trouble deciding on Sloth since we've pegged Spike as Greed.

I was wondering that myself, earlier actually.

For Sloth, I'm thinking it might actually be Rainbow Dash. Sure, she's a "world class athlete," but it always struck me as more of a natural talent kind of thing, not hard work. That, and she's always loafing around on clouds.

Sloth: Rainbow Dash - As said above, her nature is to do work only when required, procrastinate, take shortcuts, and generally take a nap whenever she can.
Greed: Rarity - Rarity is known for her generosity, but it's a learned trait. She believes she deserves diamonds and jewels and all the finer things in life. She's willing to share them, of course, but only to a certain extent.
Lust: Spike - Considering he's one of the few characters that consistantly goes Smiley: inlove....
Pride: Applejack - She is of the poorer pride variety. Her pride won't let her accept help, even from her own friends.
Wrath: Fluttershy - YOU WILL LOVE ME!!!!!!!
Envy: Twilight Sparkle - This one is pretty subtle, and I almost put her in greed instead (she's greedy for knowledge) but she also jealously guards her newfound friendship.
Gluttony: Pinky Pie - Okay, she doesn't even pretend. She's just lucky her naturally good metabolism has kept her from going diabetic.

I think part of each pony's struggle is to overcome her main sin, and turn that into a positive personality trait instead. Rarity turned her natural desire for goods into a means of sharing with others.

I don't watch MLP, so I'm not going to comment on the character assignments. However isn't Envy defined as coveting something that someone else has or owns? What you listed for Twilight Sparkle still sounds like greed.

Yeah, that one was rather easy. Though Spike could potentially take that one too, but it's a small stretch.

That picture is twice as funny, what with today's episode featuring Flutterbitch.

Glad they replayed it, since I missed it in the morning because they changed the time the show airs.

The first season is now on Netflix Streaming, so now is the time if you haven't seen it yet (like me).

Ran across this April Fool's Joke from last year and thought of you guys.

Also, the latest episode(cake mystery) was pretty great.

A predominately Pinkie Pie episode with no song, though. Smiley: crymore

It wasn't bad, but it was no A Friend in Deed.

That was absolutely unbelievable every sense of the thought. I can't believe they did all that in a show designed to sell toys to 5 year olds. You compare the season 2 finale with the season 1 opener and it's like it's being made by a totally different group. And I mean that in absolutely the best possible terms.

That was a lot of songs for an episode, too.

Finally got to watch the finale.

Damn, it was everything I was hoping it'd be and more.

Also, this is the best pony image macro of all time. OF ALL TIME.

I just noticed her horn is bigger than his. Smiley: lol
