Mark your calendars:

First day of season 2: September 17th
New timeslot: Saturday at 9AM EST

I think the time slot change was partly because of the slightly older-than-intended demographics (the 7-12 year old girls in addition to the 21-35 year old bronies), and partly because it's PRIME TIME for the "Saturday Morning Cartoon" block.

We have been promised new villains and the return of Luna. I think Luna is probably the most popular character outside of the main cast, so they responded to pressure in bringing her back.

The ponies are going to realize just how tyrannical Celestia really is, and are going to liberate Luna from the moon and together defeat her.

Pinkie Pie, Avatar of Cyttorak Discord.

Luna is still in the moon. Missed opportunity for insane Pinkamena. Celestia behind whole thing. Bizarro Ponies.

If Celestia and Luna are the princesses who overthrew Discord to rule Equestia for a thousand years, that means Discord was the previous ruler, i.e. the king, and therefore, their dad.

Explains a lot about Trollestria.

Flutterbitch, Greedity, and Rainbow Spike best ponies, in that order. DAT STAR WARS ENDING. Luna not at Royal Reception, still stuck in moon. Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie. Trollestia makes Twilight write letters starting season 1 episode 1, now letters used to fix problems in season 2:

Here is a poor-to-mid quality video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omhSnagjOL0

HD versions are still processing.

I love how Discord turned Ponyville into a Salvador Dali painting. I also love how regretful each ChaosPony was when they realized how they'd been acting under Discord's influence. Rainbow Spike jokes must now be made throughout the rest of this season. Also... poor Spike, Twilight didn't even offer him Tums or anything. Smiley: crymore

I swear, someone on staff has been through graduate school, because that is exactly how my husband behaved back in 2007 when he was in the last stages of his dissertation.

"Can't eat dinner honey, I HAVE A DEADLINE."

And of course, Trollestria's answer to Twilight not having her homework done on time is to punish everyone and make them do homework too.

Lulz. Wall Street Journal does an article on Bronies.

Quote:
It wasn't supposed to be this way. When Hasbro Inc. and Discovery Communications Inc. revived the "My Little Pony" franchise on a new television network called The Hub, an executive told investors the remake was for "the three- to six-year-old girl and her mom, who has fond memories of 'My Little Pony' from her childhood."

Quote:
Mr. Subhani tried to get his rock-band mates to play some Pony-inspired covers. They declined, so he formed a new band of bronies called Neighslayer, in which he plays guitar-heavy renditions of such "My Little Pony" songs as "Art of the Dress."

I had the pleasure of watching MLP's Dutch dub. Rarity sounds like she's from Belgium, Twilight is just bland, Pinkie sounds b*tchy (voor altiiiiijjjjjd). Spike isn't any good either. Fluttershy was perfect, though.

The point of this post? Nothing, otter than reaffirming most Dutch dubs fail (exception being The Last Airbender)

Edit:

Winter Schoonmaak!

Correction, most of them have a belgian accent. It's terribad. Back to english.
