Why do they keep having Ika Musume be released only every other week? Smiley: frown

Also, the English episode. It is made of WIN and AWESOME. We watched it twice.

The first four episodes were weekly, so maybe there's some event going on in Japan for the past month or so. Similar things happen on American TV for the World Series or NBA playoffs.

So I just found out about Chihayafuru, and got caught up on it in the last couple hours.

Here's the OP.

It's the first good show I've seen this season, easily an 8/10 for me right now (7/25 episodes have aired, though I'm waiting for EveTaku subs on #7).

I find myself needing to rewatch the original Last Exile as I have forgotten a lot of the references. I only remembered Dio.

I plan on doing so, too.

Mirai Nikki episode 7 (the one with the kid diary holder) wasn't bad; but I was a bit surprised at one part. When Yuno stabs him with a knife in the chest, it censored the knife. Is this the result of some new law in Japan? All I could think was "Man, if this was a law a few years ago, ALL of Higurashi would be a mosaic." Seemed a little silly to me.

They do tend to censor things when it's relevant to recent events(they delayed airing of the last episode of School Days, for instance, due to a recent murder). Maybe there was something recent?

Glad I wasn't the only one that thought it was odd- especially since there was a book between the knife and the kid. I'm American, so I don't really know the Japanese attitude towards something like this, but I related it to the age of the child. Maybe if it had been a kid in high school or someone older, it would not have been censored.

I'm curious- does anyone enjoy headaches enough to be watching Horizon this season? I would definitely say it's not a very good show, the plot makes no sense, most women have misshaped bodies, and the first 4? episodes are incredibly boring... but I still find myself watching the show. Maybe it's just because I like ridiculousness, but the show amuses me despite the fact that I would never recommend the show to anyone... ever. - fans of the manga (if there are any) would not be an exception.

Haven't tried Horizon yet, but I did try Ben-Tou. I'm not entirely sure what to think of it. Martial Arts with sexy waifus, and the premise is they fight over half priced grocery store boxed food products. It sounds remarkably stupid, and this is coming from me (the guy that loves "so bad it's good" products). The thing that interests me, though, is the girl called the Ice Queen (Pic 1 / Pic 2 / Pic 3). Really cute. I may continue to watch this just for that. I mean, I only watched one episode.

Looks like Nisemonogatari, the sequel to Bakemonogatari, is coming out soon.

Awesome! I finished Bakemonogatari about a month ago, looking forward to more.
