Despite the incandescent Simon Baker.

That is all.

It's not a great show, but it's mildly entertaining to watch when there's nothing else on. Definitely not something I have to see every week, but it's alright.

I enjoy Bones, especially with David Boreanaz.

But of course.

That being said, I would totally do him.

I watch Bones because Emily Deschanel is as cute as her sister.

Luckily, when it comes to Mentalist vs Bones, I don't have to choose between them. One's on in the afternoon, the other in the evening.

Also, you two are so gay. In a straight kind of way, of course.

Personally I think Zooey is cuter, anyway, they're on at 10 and 9 respectively. Different networks, but it doesn't conflict.

I watched Bones today on TNT I think. He was firing a pistol at a target quite rapidly, and with each shot his eyes closed. The target came in and it was all center mass. All I could think was how ******** that was, or the target was like ten feet in front of him.

Random musing.

I'll have to ahead and take your word for it. I've never bothered to watch an episode of either show, and I don't really see that changing anytime soon.

Oy! Crazy ending to Bones this season. Won't say what happened, but definately didn't see that coming. Also, if you remember the episode this season where Booth had his friend (and the friend's two friends) find something to help out with a case, that little crew will be getting their own show next TV season called 'The Finder.'

And totally agree, Zooey 10 & Emily 9.. and David a 10 (in a straight kinda way of course ;)

1) If you didn't see that coming by halfway through the episode... you clearly don't watch this show enough.

2) Really? You mean the blatant TV pilot poorly hidden as a bones episode was actually a blatant TV pilot poorly hidden as a bones episode? Who would have thought?

I love Bones, but their blatant product placement pisses me the **** off. When I saw that episode, I was quite unhappy.

Product placement = more money = more Bones.

It's like the people on YouTube ******** about Vevo and advertisement, wanting the "old YouTube" back. They fail to realize that without Vevo, the music industry would block even more songs, and without advertisement, YouTube would generate an even bigger loss and Google might shut it down altogether.

I hate advertisement as much as the next guy, but I find that they are worth it considering the alternative.

I haven't even seen Bones, but David Boreanaz does make me smile. I miss Buffy. D:

Also, the actor that plays the finder person guy is quite cute, so I might need to watch it. XD

I quite liked the dialogue dynamic of the Finder trio, so I didn't mind the obvious spin-off set up.

If you ever watch Bones or The Mentalist, having not seen them before, I heavily suggest you watch all the episodes from the start, in order and as close together as possible. Although there is a certain formula and each episode is pretty much self-contained, there is ALSO very important story and character development over the seasons. The details of the wider stories are much easier to appreciate when you see episodes in-order and back-to-back.

I love the personalities of the cast in Bones, they get a much more prominent airing than any of the cast in The Mentalist that are not the lead role. The overarching stories in Bones are more prominent than the overarching stories in The Mentalist, which is why I like Bones more.

David Boreanaz was never my type. His forehead seemed squashed on top of his deep set eyes, which made him look like a stupid cave-man to me. Then there was an episode of Bones where Dr Brennan takes off Seeley Booth's (David Boreanaz's) clothes in the lab, down to his boxers, because he has evidence (a body) splattered all over them. My jaw dropped. David Boreanaz's body suddenly became my standard for male body perfection. The perfect 10.

Who knew it was there under all those stupid suits?
