It's their new album (listen to it for free here).
The first song my opinion was "meh, kinda boring" it then went to too smooth/poppy and slowly to Ok, this is pretty cool.
The album is now stuck on repeat for a while and it keeps growing on me.

I like how they supposedly have recorded this completely analogue and without studio trickery too.

I havent really cared much for the new foo fighters albums, their older stuff was pure amazing though.

The last album I kept up with was One By One so that's a while ago, but this popped up on my Facebook and it's really enjoyable.
It sounds like Dave has been listening to Porcupine Tree for some songs, they have a bit of the same vibe/feeling to them.

Good album. Few songs I don't care for, but overall, I like it. I'll probably buy the CD sometime this week. Yes, a CD... don't judge me!

Um, why would someone judge you for buying a CD?

Why buy an MP3? If you want an MP3 either steal it or rip it from the disc.

I love the smell of a new CD, also the artwork and playing a CD is overall a much more enjoyable experience than pushing play on my PC.

They've always been a middle-of-the-road band for me. Pretty reliably solid, but never made anything that ever really wowed me. I think my favorite song of theirs is still This is a Call from way back when.

Dave Grohl is a much better drummer than a front man. Just saying.

Saw them on Daily Show this morning while my eyes were bleeding from allergies. Getting readjusted to the US is brutal. Anyway, the two songs they played were pretty enjoyable. I'll probably end up buying the CD and burning it to my iPod. Also awesome to see Grohl keeping the Alternative Grundge look going, and not looking like a complete douchebag.

Walk - Foo Fighters (Wasting Light)
Just heard this in Thor, going through the other songs right now but so far it's looking like a good album.
