Using NetflixFollow

I'm not sure, but I think the categories you see when on the PS3 are related to the stuff you've watched and rated(at least, I think that's how it used to be, may be different now). I usually tend to just watch things I've added to the queue from searches while on my PC.

I've found that this is the best way, in my opinion.

I spent about 30 minutes last night searching through the menus on the PS3. There was Movies, TV, and under each was just generic things like "Drama" "Action Adventure" "SciFi Fantasy". There was one called Animation, but searching through all the titles in there, it was old and new cartoons from Nickelodeon and the similar (Ren and Stimpy, Hey Arnold, etc, etc.)

The only time I saw any Japanese animation was when it was in the "similar titles". One linked to Ghost in the Shell, and then from there, there were a few similar title links to Darker than Black and a few others.

If the category is there, it's definitely not in as easy a spot to find as it is on the netflix website.

I would just watch them on not netflix where you can get subs instead of dubs, but that is just me. I have tried watching a few dubs on netflix and it reminds me why I hate pretty much anything that doesn't get something huge like disney behind it, Miyazaki and Ghibli for instance. That also reminds me contact funimation about convention possibilities cus they are cool and support stuff like that even if their dubs are bad.
