Excel Saga was hilarious, but a bit too... pointless. It lacked a story that captivated me.

Dead Leaves was lulz, but I didn't really like the drawing/editing style. Definitely some funny lines in it, though.

Going to check out the other suggestions, thanks.

Edit: Pumpkin Scissors looks promising. Just can't decide whether I should watch the dubbed or original version.

Pumpkin Scissors is awesome. It's a shame that they never made a second season.

I should go read the Pumpkin Scissors manga, as I did quite enjoy the anime. Too bad it's ongoing and when I finally catch up I'll be kicking myself for picking up another monthly manga.

Monthly mangas aren't so bad, least they get updated more then Highschool of the Dead, that's a series that I really regret reading now.

Can't be worse than following some web comics.

I'm looking at you, Megatokyo.

Your post reminded me that I hadn't checked that one in forever(well over a month, probably two).

Two updates since my last time checking. Smiley: laugh

Both VG Cats and Megatokyo I only check about once every 1.5-2 months, and they typically have 2-3 updates in that time period. (I didn't know it was possible for someone to post slower than Fred Gallagher, but VG manages to pull it off...)

Don't fight it. Just ride this train down to the end of the line.
There are, after all, much worse things to get addicted to.

So.... The Care Bears, and My Little Pony trains collided, and created that?

/on topic I'm glad i saw this thread first. I was thinking about checking out that anime, but i think i'll pass on it now. Busy watching Hanasaku Iroha , Deadman Wonderland, and My ordinary life anyway.

Hey Mazra, anyone mention Furi Kuri yet? Or Fooly Cooly? Or FLCL? Either way, you might like it.

Well, either you'll like it, or from the moment you finish it, everything you eat will taste like yellow for the rest of your life.

Nailed it!

That is some seriously ******* crazy, well, ****. I love how it starts out kinda serious and suddenly there's a huge chemical factory plant that looks like a giant iron, and she starts taking pictures of the guy getting run over... WHAT AM I WATCHING?!

Love it

So to continue the offtopic discussion. I made the horrible decision to go read Pumpkin Scissors. Having finished chapter 7 of 12, I realized that most likely there are only 2 chapters at most beyond the anime. Apparently Pumpkin Scissors never made it big in Japan. Dammit.

Well, that certainly explains why no season 2.

While I'm not a fan of bumping old threads, it was either that or create a new one. Since this was on the first page still, I went with this.

I personally gave Korean Zombie Desk Car a 6/10, while awesome things like Madoka got a 10/10. The random was good and expectedly funny, and the fan service was nice even though it was getting old. It was worth a watch but didn't draw me in, which I usually give 7s to, but the ending was horrible so I bumped it down.

I'm personally surprised it got greenlighted for a second season. I guess I'm just getting sick of harem animu.

Zombie was mildly entertaining. Not my favorite, and I got rather tired of it by the end, but still funny. If I'm being honest, I'll watch this regardless. I'm a sucker for sequels, even though I didn't think they'd make one.
