The thought of this going through makes me a very happy person.

Exciting news! That's a lot to pay per episode, but I can see them easily making up that revenue in additional subscribers.

I'm sure it won't be included in the $7.99 stream-only plan. You'll probably have to pay $1 or $2 extra a month for current TV or something.

Still totally worth it, though. One nitpick with that article.

[...]Hulu Plus, which streams current episodes of selected series. Hulu is able to stream this content because it is actually jointly owned by the NBC, ABC, and Fox television networks. While Netflix does not currently have access to this timely content, it is the only streaming service of the two, for the moment, that can be viewed on a gaming device, as it allows viewers to stream television on a PlayStation 3, Xbox, or Wii.
Hulu Plus is available on PS3. I'm not sure about 360 or Wii, but that statement is false.

The title of that article got my hopes up. I thought they were talking about this Current TV.

I've noticed that SNL is already doing this. I was able to watch the Thanksgiving episode with Anne Hathaway hosting just a few days after it aired.
