The preview for next week's episode was awesome too. Can't wait to see how everything turns out. Also, Lumen is freaking idiot for picking up the phone.
Lumen will get full blame on killings. Notice how cops only find evidence of one female suspect. And Deb is already pointing at this. As I imagine somehow Lumen will clear Dexter from suspicion and die soon after ("there is no coming back after thing like this" - remember?). There will be nice narrated scene where Dexter will open himself to thought of people loving him despite knowing he is a monster. That would be a bridge to next season's Deb finding out who he is. As pointed by her newly found apreciation of vigilantes and justified killing of perps.
Yea, I told my husband that since Dexter seems to be falling for Lumen, that must mean she's gonna die. That and the fact that there's no way Julia Stiles is going to be on the show for that long.
Great episode. Since I'm still of the opinion that Lumen isn't making it past this season. My guess would be that Dex & Lumen get Jordan, but somehow Lumen gets taken out by the cop, Deb finds this out, & then she catches Dex taking out the cop. Quinn now seems to be a non issue.

[quote=Belkira the Tulip]No comments about Lumen on Dexter action???
They did the scene really well. Lumen binding his hands initially, so she felt in control and unthreatened. The her freeing his hands because she felt she could trust him after she'd dipped her toes in the water. Dexter making helpless little wimpers and moans, like he was losing his virginity, he was so overwhelmed. The importance of someone making love with him knowing he's a killer.
Seondly, I admire that a fairly logical storyline (Dexter and Lumen come together romantically in the end, was handled by the scriptwriters and actors so well that it was never obvious that it was an utter inevitably. Right up until it happened, I'd lost any certainty of expectation that the script would go that way.
I really, really can't tell how this series is going to end.
Dex got picked up for Season 6. Almost about that time to start waiting another 9 months between episodes again! However, I doubt they'll up last year's season ending cliff hanger, so the wait should be easier.

I'd call it more of a ******** than a cliff hanger.
I wish I didn't see the preview for the season finale after the credits >.<

Dexter Season 5 is a excellent series. And It is all characters are very much attractive. I like its all levels, it is very good for entertainments, its all stages are very fun-able.
You're adorable.

Great ending to the season, although you can tell that it was originally written with the idea that there wouldn't be a Season 6.
One loose end:
Deb fired her gun, but didn't pick up the shell casing. I'm surprised CSI wouldn't find that when they got there. Loose end, or plot hole? You be the judge.

She didn't see the flipped car when driving up? Wouldn't Dexter's blood be in that car?
I'm sure there are more but those were the two that stood out to me.
