On PhilosophyFollow

Since my local library is running short on decent biology books, I've been wanting to read more into philosophy. I'm mostly interested in the philosophy of language, but philosophies of science and mind are also fair game. Would anyone happen to have a recommendation for a book of this sort? Keep in mind that I have no formal education in the subject, but I'm willing and able to churn through a difficult read.
