Spoilers contained in this post, read no further if you have no seen.

What do you foresee in the future? BT was totally rooting for Dexter to just bolt and go on a killing spree, but I'm glad he came back. Rita did make him human. Things don't look so good on his side, though, being in such sociopathic shock at the moment, but I'm just super excited and didn't wanna bump the old thread to talk about it, and was surprised no one else had brought it up.

Also: I miss John Lithgow. I can't wait to see the twists and turns they're gonna bring about this season.

It will be interesting to see what Julia Stiles brings in, I'm guessing she's a baddie but will have similar characteristics to Rita, making it harder for Dexter to plunge the knife.

I missed it earlier (forgot about it while playing Munchin, lol).

Man, I remembered why I love this series. I can't wait to see what happens this season.

Also, I was worried Dexter wouldn't show any emotion, but I'm glad he ended up doing so.
Believe it or not, this was the only episode where I was a little freaked out by Dexter (in the first half).

He reverted to the emotionless Dexter we knew in season 1. It was interesting that while in that mode, "Harry" wasn't around. Guess he really has changed & grown a conscious. Unfortunately for our favorite sociopath, it's really going to complicate sticking to Harry's rules & should lead to further shenanigans.

For being a fantastic psycho killer, Dexter really sucked it up during his wife's funeral. you think he could have faked some emotion? At the end I felt like I could have done a better job showing emotion. Granted, I was totally Team Elliot - I would have been there macking it on Rita. **Growl*

I was a little disappointed that the final "I love you" was said in his head and not aloud in her eulogy. But they couldn't have done a better job making a complex character where the audience has no idea what to expect from him. Can't wait til next week!

I liked it. I, too, was glad that he came back.

I was also a little ticked that everyone was so judgemental of Dexter. I mean, he found his wife dead. He wasn't showing any emotion, but damn. He was in shock! I thought the eulogy was weird, though.

I didn't know Julia Stiles was going to be on this season. I'm excited now.

I'm hoping we don't see Quinn in some cabin in the swamp that gets blown up...

Everyone needs to watch Oz, at least season 4. So many Dexter characters are in it. LaGuerta's in it from the beginning. Later we get Angel, and a badass Doakes. Plus Oz is just the sh*t and easy enough to find to watch online, and the graininess just makes it even better. I love it when shows cross characters like that. Stabler from L&O:SVU (Rape Cops) is on there too, and he's the sexual predator. It's awesome.

Oh, and I was very glad Dexter came back. It must be the woman in us Belki, hahaha. BT was all like "... he's gonna run. He's gonna run! Yes! Untethered Dexter! I love it!" but this will be better.

There were a ton of Oz actors in The Wire, as well.

Wait, are you guys talking, like, the same actors? Or the actual characters?

Well, I was talking actors, and from the context in Guenny's post (particularly re: Stabler from L&O:SVU), I'm going to assume she was as well.

I'm talking actors, but I like to call them by their cross-character names because it's fun. I'm just weird. Sorry. [:lol]

No, if you called them by their real names, I would have no idea who you're talking about. Smiley: lol
