Yeah, they'll put the availability end date next to the movie in your Watch Instantly queue on the main site. Guess they need to rotate stuff out to make "new" movies accessible for streaming.

The expiration is typically 12-18 months or more. Even two years for some TV stuff or older/less popular movies.

I'm certain that's a limitation placed by the movie studios and not by Netflix. They don't want you to have no incentive to ever buy their DVDs for retail because you have eternal viewing privileges.

Anyone notice anything regarding this? So far it looks like roughly 4 or 5 movies or so added from paramount and thats about it.

No, and it's annoying.

Mad Men is a Lionsgate show, and I'd love to watch the third season, but no, I have to buy it if I want to watch it. Smiley: glare

the article i read about short circuit 3 was posted in 2003. Yea it might not have made it? The second one was horrible.
