Get Him To The GreekFollow

My husband and I went to see "Get Him To The Greek" yesterday, and I actually really enjoyed it. "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" is one of my all time favorite movies, and I was a little worried about a movie based solely on supporting characters from that movie, but it was actually really funny. I'm not a big fan of Sean "Puffy" Combs, and he can't really act, but I wasn't expecting any Oscar award winning performances anyway. And P-Diddy wasn't in it a ton anyway.

Russel Brand brought Aldous Snow back perfectly, and I actually downloaded the soundtrack today. I had to find "Inside of You" the single from the "Sarah Marshall" soundtrack. Once I hear that song, I can't get it out of my damn head for days. Some of the other songs were catchy, too. So if you want to have a good laugh, and you enjoyed "Sarah Marshall," I would recommend it. Smiley: nod

Yeah I really want to see this. I also loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Does that fat kid play the same role or is it a new character? Judging by the previews it seems like it's a new character, which would be really weird since Russell Brand is reprising his role.

I saw it and really enjoyed it. I liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall better, but I really liked this too. And the music, while all really silly, was quite enjoyable.

You know I wasn't sure about that myself, since he had such a small role in Sarah Marshall. Looking at IMDB, his role in Sarah Marshall was "Matthew the waiter" and his role in GHTTG was Aaron Green, so I guess he's a different guy. Which seems weird, but really, Aldous Snow paid so little attention to him in Sarah Marshall that it's not like he'd recognize him anyway. I guess.

Ok, it's weird. But it was still a good movie. Smiley: grin
