What? I don't even...

This show is so much better than Futakoi. In fact, besides the same voice cast and groups of twins, this series bears little resemblance to the show it spins off from (very, very loosely). Where Futakoi was a mediocre harem boy meets girls tale, this just jumps into the completely ridiculous so far that it comes out completely awesome. I'm not as well watched as some here but I highly recommend it.

Warning: TV Tropes link.
Episode 1 part 1 If all else, click the link. It skips past the OP and starts right at the action. You'll know whether this is something you want to watch after ~2 minutes.

After watching the first few minutes, I knew it was going to be awesome. (And no, I don't watch crappy quality Youtube clips unless I absolutely have to).

Edit: Fixed link.

It really doesn't. It begins making more sense 4-5 episodes in. It makes more sense if you've seen Futakoi (even though alternative has nothing to do with the original series).

Just give it a chance though, it is good.

The original Futokoi was pretty much a Slice of Life/Romance series.

Finally just finished watching this series. Posted this thread when I was on episode 4. If you do decide to watch it, stick with it. The first episode is pretty decent (even if it makes no sense). The series actually is rather character driven in that the main character Rentarou especially, and some of the side characters are rather fleshed out and develop very nicely as the series progresses. It can be difficult to ignore some of the glaring plot holes, but overall, the visuals and story make for a pretty nice watch.

Good for: **** squids and Detective Kick which apparently trumps all.

As stated previously in the thread, if you've seen Futakoi, don't dismiss this automatically. The original was rather bland in my opinion, but this certainly does the characters justice.

I saw the word Futakoi and rule 34 immediately popped into my head.

Yup and there's probably more of it for the lulu and lala the youngest than any of the other twin sets.
