So I was in Best Buy over the weekend looking for a hard drive enclosure(to no avail I might add...) and so I decided to walk over to the DVD section just for some kicks. I wasn't looking for anything until I saw the full 5 volume collection of the 1990's X-Men cartoon series and the nostalgia kicked in of my Saturday mornings as a kid in front of the TV. Next thing I remember I'm on the train with them in a bag, a receipt in my pocket and a big grin on my face.

I came home and popped it in the player and the thought occurred to me; was the show intentionally ended because it had nothing left in major story lines to cover after 5 seasons or was it just it's time and Marvel actually wanted to go out classy?

(And yes I realize I could just download them but something about seeing a series/movie on DVD feels all the more satisfying at the end of the day.)

I loved this series personally. I may go download it if I can find it because I'm poor again...

Trying to stretch money out over three months is such a pain in the ass. And people complain about getting paid once a month.

I recently picked this up on DVD too. The animation hasn't aged well, but overall it's still a pretty great show.

Ah, good times.
I remember when this cartoon started up, and how freaking mad I was when Morph was captured and they failed to save him.
And the longer down the story path, Morph is "free" and I was happy, but not because he was being controlled.
