I thoroughly enjoyed it, and want my own dragon now Smiley: frown.

Yes, it does follow the same basic plot as every other Dreamworks movie. So what?

It could have very easily been a bad movie, but it wasn't. I'd peg it as the third best Dreamworks production, after Kung Fu Panda and Shrek.

By Shrek are we talking the original, or the second one? I liked the second better, truth be told.

I think we can all agree the third one sucked >_>

I could agree with that. The original Shrek of course... the sequels were kinda meh.

Shrek 4 looks to be the lamest.

I liked How to Train Your Dragon, it wasn't too bad.

I was not all that impressed by it, until they showed the big mother@#%^ing dragon. That fight was AWESOME!

300 guy as the father viking fit well. The voice of the main character did not, and I was pretty put off by that. In fact, the voices of all the kids were awful ideas.

My fiancee and I kept laughing to ourselves at how much Toothless acted like our cat. :D

I actually like the third Shrek movie but maybe I'm just weird. Second is definitely my favorite though.

Haven't seen this movie yet, but I definitely want to.

It definitely wasn't anything major, but it was still a very good watch. A nice, cute little movie that will bring a smile to your face throughout. I disliked the girl's personality though, the one that is also in Hiccup's training class. Not the twin.

I really liked how detailed Dreamworks made the characters and dragons. The lore and storyline just seemed to fit together very well.
