So found this today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONkh786EbSg and I think I just about squeeled like a little girl. (insert joke about wave motion, pants, here)

Now Japanese live action adaptations aren't usualy - how should I say this - "good", but I can't hate on probably the most important show from my childhood.

Also, I want one of those jackets...

Holy crap, sweet. Nice jacket, and he actually "fits" Derek Wildstar. I see they've got a good Captain Avatar as well.

I hope they have an english subtitled version of this film, I (and I'm sure other Battleship Yamato/Starblazers fans) would love to see it.
