Is actually coming out today, 11/25. If you don't know anything about it, it's based off a Pulitzer prize winning book by author Cormac McCartney (No Country for Old Men) about a father (The Man) & son (the Boy) traveling around in a horribly depressing post apocalyptic world. It's been done for about a year & continually delayed, most likely due to the subject matter.
It was an incredibly dark book. From what I've read of the reviews of the movie (which seem to lean, overall, to positive) that the movie is, for the most part, almost as dark. However, some reviewers seem to think it's not dark enough (a certain "baby cooked on a spit" scene is not shown in the movie).
I plan on seeing it as I have a 3 day weekend. Since it's my birthday on Sunday, I may be able to weasel out of having to take the GF to see New Moon...
However, I know she isn't going to like The Road, so maybe not...
