I like to torture myself with false hope.

Besides, its the Yankees. They ruin everything.

Maybe they are getting enough sleep in their lives and don't need the aid of baseball?

Hay, I like baseball.

A shame the team I like doesn't seem to like it.

I totally traded Jose Reyes right after he got hurt for the season for Tori Hunter & Mariano Rivera in fantasy this year.

It may have been the best trade ever.

My team got swept in the first round, if it makes you feel slightly better. Now I'm routing against the Yankees. GO ANGELS!

I'm all for baseball. Sadly though, I do not watch it unless the Cubs are involved.

I hate watching most sports. I don't mind playing some of them, but watching is pretty damn boring. There are just so many other things I'd rather watch/do.

I never realized I liked watching sports until I saw a game live at a stadium (it was minor league, Florida Manatees). There is a lot of energy from the people all around you and the game kind of pulls you into it. I was surprised to find myself standing and cheering near the end when someone hit the ball far off to the left field and 2 runs were scored-- whereas I thought I would be incredibly bored the whole time. I was not. I also went to a highschool football game once and had an equally good time despite the girl I was meeting there had her mom come to sit between us...

It's not the same deal watching sports on TV though... it just seems boring and trite.
