Heroes . . ?Follow

So I have not watched any of it this season. I have the last 4 weeks recorded (I guess at this point I could just watch them at the nbc.com site -.-) and waiting to be watched.

Is the season even being watched by any one? The way last season ended was kind of lame.
So I'm a little "meh" about watching it. Friends who were big fans say it isn't "there" anymore, and this will probably be the last season.

So yea (season 4 or is it 5?), should I care to watch it or just read recaps on what is going on o.O?

Heroes was never "there." I saw the first three Heroes episode this season, and it is exactly as bad as it has always been. If the show had gotten any worse I would have probably kept watching, because it would be interesting to see how terrible the plot could get while still maintaining respectable ratings.

I did laugh my bum off when Claire enters college and apparently the super hard, ultra-honors math class is linear algebra.

I think this season is actually better than the last. The stuff going on with Sylar & Parkman was kinda neat, hope they tie it in somehow with Nathan-Sylar. Peter is actually interesting as is the new deaf-girl-who-sees-sound even if I don't get the practical applications of her powers.

However, Claire's girl-girl kiss last week pretty much signals the beginning of the end. Let's face it, it had nothing to do with "story" and everything to do with ratings.

Yet, Claire's college experimentation only make her very slightly less annoying.

I'm getting my series crossed.

I kept waiting for the other girl to punch her mid-kiss... Didn't happen.

Doesn't every girl experiment in college?! (hush, I would like to continue believing that is true)

It's mostly filler at this point anyway. I don't expect to see much until the last 2 or 3 episodes of the season.

The Sylar stuff is interesting, Peter is tolerable, Claire and Hiro need to just go the hell away already.

Except for Peter getting shot (that was cool), Noah "finding his place", & Ray Park killing Winston from Ghostbusters; pretty much nothing happened.

And wtf @ Hiro going back in time to save his waitress crush, he only spent AN ENTIRE EPISODE of the first season trying to do just that.

Yet, I'll continue to watch as I have to finish it.

Next week when I'm done with my Temp job, I'll try to watch what is so far out. 5 weeks worth I think lol >.>

Bold: about time. I mean, for real..they were good together. If he isn't going back in time to get that chick from Japan, than the red head will work (._.)b

There hasn't been a whole lot of action this season, which is kind of boring. But I'm really excited about Hiro going back to save Charlie, and I hope that works out. I'm really hoping the writers are able to turn it around, I liked the first season, second season was... Third season was ok with an epic moment or two mixed in. I want more people using powers action! And not this lame "Claire is always falling down and being impaled/throwing herself off a 10 story building/running through fires/retrieving rings from running blenders/whatever" It's just really sad how they always find a way to show off her power, but not too often anyone elses. Samuel taking down that building was cool, and I'm really loving the dear girl who sees sound. I'm interested to know what they have in store for her.

I don't pay attention to it like the I did the first year, the show quickly lost its luster for me.

However while while doing some work I happened to glance at the screen while Hiro talked to himself in the past and he mentioned he needed to save the waitress to be his true love. The MJ to his Spider-Man, one Hiro comments. The other responds "The Marle to my Crono!"

Three cheers for them.

Not only was it a nice nerdy reference, but an apt one at that.

Maybe I'll just go plop the game in and kick some Lavos butt...

Hahaha, I LOLed so loudly at this and said "F*CK YES, CHRONO TRIGGER REFERENCE!" My housemates looked scared :-P The funny thing is, it's a much better comparison than Spiderman-MJ because Crono does actually travel through time to save Marle!

I feel pretty blah about Hiro going to save Charlie, though. Unlike some other parts of the series, that section should have been closed forever. I also feel like we should have been able to see present Hiro in the past if something like this did actually happen (ie, go back to season 1 and look carefully and you'll see Hiro sitting at the counter behind a newspaper). I DID like the fact that we got to see some of season 1 from a different view.

Overall it makes me want to watch season 1 again, but hopefully it turns out good this time as well.

It was neat to see the deceased season 1 characters back for a bit (Isaac & Charlie). I thought this episode would suck, but found that it didn't. The actress who plays Charlie is cute (I like her in Glee more) & wouldn't mind if she was around for awhile.

Although, present day Sylar may or may not have her powers (Photographic memory?). He didn't know how to "emphasize" powers (like he did with Elle, before he cut her brain open) so he shouldn't.

Though I don't recall him really using it, either.

I like Hiro, so this episode gets a thumbs up.

I like Hiro too, and I liked Charlie, so same here. I also thought it was a pretty interesting thing for the show to do, I liked it.

I find that rewinds on shows are either hit or miss, and the one one heroes was a hit. It was interesting seeing how everything back then was so different from now. As for the show as a whole, it's decent, not amazing. I watch because I'm a fan not because it's must see TV.

I was hoping Parkman was going to stay dead, but then I saw the previews for the next episode.

Nope.
