Dexter: Season 4 "Living the Life"Follow

Dexter's back! I've very much enjoyed this series & if you haven't had a chance, don't have showtime, & would like too as well you can watch them all here (If you run out of Megavideo time, I'd recommend the youku or tudou links).

The following parts contain spoilers:

When last we left Dexter, he had gotten married after knocking up his girlfriend & there was no one left alive that knew his secret. Season 4 started off with a bang with John Lithgow as what appears to be the "serial killer of the season" in an incredibly creepy role (I forgot what a good villain Lithgow can be). Dexter's son has also been born & he isn't getting much sleep which is greatly affecting his work; both as a blood spatter annalist & as a serial killer.

Also, ex FBI special agent Lundy (& Deb's ex) has returned to track down Lithgow & I'm thinking to try & resolve any lingering questions he has about the Bay Harbor Butcher case. If you remember, only LaGuerta & Lundy know that Doakes had an alibi for some of those murders & I'm guessing he thinks Dexters the true suspect. Should be neat though, cause Lundy's a cool character.

At the same time, Deb's getting closer to finding out Dexter's birth mom was Harry's mistress. Think she'll be able to connect the dots from there?

As for the cliffhanger, anyone know if Dexter still had the body parts in his car before the crash? I'm guessing no, but idk...

I'm soooo happy it's back on. I can't wait for Sunday now.I didn't expect him to crash and the previews had me flipping out! Do you think something is up with that retired guy looking for the trinity killer? I think he might know something about Dexter. Can't wait to see how the trinity killer's storyline pans out :)

OMG SPOILERS!

Lundy's Dead! Deb's been shot!

I don't think Dexter's going to mind about Lundy, but he's going to be pissed about Deb.

I see a plastic room in John Lithgow's future.

As if there's any other way. I'm not going out of my way for any spoilers week by week, but this Sundays episode: "Dirty Harry" sounds interesting. Perhaps a flashback episode where Harry has some sort of encounter with Trinity? The whole Deb looking up Harry's past for character flaws seems a bit dull to base an episode around.

Anyone else reading the books? The most recent was rather blah IMO. The stories seem to have hardly any character progression at all at least in relation to Astor and Cody's Dark Passenger.

Edit: Something I read somewhere, an interview with Jennifer Carpenter (iirc) before season 4 started had her saying something to the effect of her character maybe knowing more than she lets on. Possibly more like a Deb from the original Lindsay universe.

I haven't read the books, but have read the wiki & feel that the show would be ruined should the Dark Passenger being a corpeal entity.

Deb's gonna be busy given the ending of the last episode & all and i feel she's dropped the whole investigation into Harry thing because of Trinity.

Especially now.

She hadn't gotten to Dexter's mother yet. At that point, I think she might know more.

But know what's even creepier? Michael C Hall (Dexter) is married to (Jennifer Carpenter) Deb IRL.

Dexter has whole layers of creepiness.

What I meant was that in the first book (which is very similar to season one) Deb finds out and knows that Dexter is a serial killer and that Ice Truck was his bro.
