My power was out from 6pm to 11pm yesterday... and then went out again at 3:30am or so.

So now I had to find a copy to watch, and my connection is being refused (probably due to the 30,000+ connections already).

They really don't want me to watch this episode.

Don't worry, it was another great episode.

I always miss the beginning of the season, it's OK though because they'll start shoving reruns special encore episodes at us soon enough.

Well, I was able to watch it.

I think 13 needs more air time. And less clothes.

There were rumors of House jumping the shark last season. I was surprised when in contrast the series kept getting better and better. The season opener was also very good, but the second episode was a dip. If House has jumped the shark, it was hanging in the air for a long time. Has it finally landed or is this just a dive to recover speed?

Think of it more so as riding a shark, than jumping it.

I watched a special on Patrick Dempsey last night, I'm quite surprised he auditioned for House too and was considered for the part. It's hard to imagine anyone except Hugh Laurie as House.

Setting up plot for later on. Series premiere always has to be huge and awesome, otherwise people ***** and moan.

If you take time in the second episode to introduce plot elements for the season, then people will keep watching to see how things turn out, even if it's a slower episode.

It's the same thing in Entourage; ep1: tie up **** from last season, ep2: introduce **** for new season, ep3: start awesome ****.

Hugh Laurie also said on Jay Leno that he won't quit House any time soon, so yeah.
