First episode OP.

I just finished episode 6 a couple nights ago, and can't wait for episode 7. I got the feeling that the series would be fairly serious, based on the first episode, but I guess looks can be deceiving Smiley: lol
There are some cool looking scenes in the OP though, so I eagerly await those.

I like the animation style, as it's a nice break from what I usually watch. I also like the main female character: Hitagi Senjōgahara, as she has a unique personality (to me, anyway).

Anyway, just thought I'd see if anyone else was watching this series.

Added to list of series to watch. Unfortunately I know I won't get around to it until it has at least finished its full run.

I actually prefer downloading batches, since I can watch at my own pace (which tends to be pretty fast if I like the series). I think I'll watch Haibane Renmei until Bakemonogatari ep 7.

I love that show. I think I'm getting a disc of it in tonight. Smiley: yippee

Edit: Felt like responding to a video with a video. This looks like something the OOT would do. Smiley: laugh

Between this and Needless, I feel every possible anime cliche has been fulfilled for the season.

Hell, Needless alone seems to have every possible anime cliche imaginable -- which is why I seem to like it.

I heard from a friend, that Needless is crazy random, and that I should only watch it if I want something that's not serious in any way.
Is this correct? I might just start watching it.

I've only watched five episodes, but so far the gags are all over the place. I mean, one minute you've got two uber buff dudes duking it out, and the next you have the "Pretty Girl Squad" rolling through.

God damn you.

I'm adding it to the list since it looks like it'd make my roommates uncomfortable.

Bumping up this old topic because I just watched the first episode of Bakemonogatari and I have a strong desire to say that I liked it a lot.

I really enjoy the way it looks and the conversations.

Downloading the other 12 episodes at the moment to watch them all next friday so I can sit impatiently waiting for the last two episodes to be subbed.

For some reason, I really liked the first episode but they kinda lost me on the second. Maybe I need to give it another try.

The style is a little weird at first, but it's definetly worth the watch.

At first?

It's constantly weird.
And I'd guess about 90% of the episodes are conversation.

But it's also really really awesome.

Well, it's not so weird once you learn to expect it.

And yes. ******* Awesome.
