Soul EaterFollow

I want to keel whoever allowed them to start making stuff up. I'm under the assumption they did something similar to what happened with full metal alchemist. At some point in the story.. they just branched off and started making stuff up, but kept it still close enough to the story to be good. They even kept referencing, or even completely mimicking stuff that was happening in the manga at the equivalent points. And it was working perfectly.

Until I finished it. The last episode especially.. was just horrible. Those who have seen it probably agree. It was just a mockery compared to what they had done so far. Needless to say, I actually picked up the manga to see how it was different after watching that craptastic ending. Only to discover that I had to go back alll the way to basically the half way point to see where stuff started moving apart.

Anybody else, besides me, hoping that they'll do what they're doing with full metal alchemist and remake the anime over again to actually follow the manga this time? The story is fantastic, and I absolutely love the art work and animation. If they can stick to the manga I'm sure we'll have ourselves yet another anime that's spectacularly awesome and that I'll watch over and over again.

I still can't believe the ending was horrible enough to make me actually read through the manga. I still haven't touched the manga for naruto and bleach...

I'm having belated RAWR issues now. I really want to see more soul eater, but there's nothing more to watch or read. And even if they do redo the anime to follow the manga it's not going to happen for a while, fma redo isn't even finished yet!

Also.. soul eater manga only updates like once a month doesn't it? :(
