Why is it the few shows I actually like on TV get canceled within a couple of seasons? Apparently this show has been canceled after leaving such a good cliffhanger at the end of season 2. I guess Fox has to make more room for stupid reality shows. They plan to renew that god awful dollhouse though., Go Figure..

I could never get into it. To be fair, though, I watched the seventh episode or so in and then the 16th or so, so that's not really surprising.

Yeah, not surprising when they started killing off every character that didn't have Conner or a hyphen in their name.

I feel as if movies never take the transition to TV well, though the same can be said for almost any form of media.

I'm disappointed more by the fact that "Pushing Daisies" was canceled after two seasons.

I feel the title of this thread was misleading. Should it not have been "Terminator Sarah Conner Chronicles TERMINATED"?

It was on Fox, it was bound to happen. They always cancel the good shows, which is why I just don't watch Fox anymore.

We don't know that for sure.

"Twentieth Century Fox Television retains the option to license the original runs of the new episodes to a broadcast network," seemingly implying there is a chance a network (though come on, it would be FOX, right?) could potentially air the new episodes first, before Comedy Central.

That is dissapointing. I hadn't given the show a chance until recently a friend mentioned that I should check it out and I caught the last 7 or 8 episodes and found that I enjoyed them. Perhaps I should have supported the show sooner..... *sigh*

That's one of the things about American Television that really pisses me off. Things just "end". Sometimes mid season, and since everything is hush hush and secret till the news is sprung, rarely does a Finale or Ending get to be written. Rare are the Series like Sapranos or BSG where the creative team is even given a chance to tie things up in a conclusion.

The number of Sci-Fi series that were just dropped mid plot that I've liked is pretty high. I'd say 5x more then have had actual endings.
