I wonder if Peter will ever learn the truth that he is from World 2.
I thought it was kinda cool at the end when they were actually in the World Trade Center. I'm surprised there wasn't a big old brouhaha about the usage of this now sacred building.
But ya, the part with Peter and World 2... I didn't expect that. I assumed it was Peter's Mother who Walter was trying to get back. But I should have figured it out, especially earlier in the series, when Walter said Peter "miraculously" got better.
I knew something was up in that episode when Walter said Peter got better, but I thought he was just a clone or anything. I didn't really think of a parallel universe. Even in the previous episode, when Olivia was seeing the parallel universe, I just didn't put the two together. That said, it wasn't exactly a "shock" or anything.
I'm very pleased with Fringe. I was kind of on the fence about it after the first couple of episodes but they steadily improved the characters and storyline, and it's now one of my favorite current TV shows.
Between Fringe, Lost and Star Trek, JJ Abrams sure loves time travel and alternate universes.
Show is indeed awesome. I just hope they don't make us wait too long for the next season. I hate cliffhangers, especially when they involve Sylvester Stallone.

I think they said this Fall. During the previews after the season finale.
It is suppose to return this fall. So only few months wait...
I knew early on there was something odd w/ Peter. He not remembering his childhood the way his father did stood out to me.
I thought that he could have maybe been a Clone of Walter, and it was Walter's childhood he was telling him about, but yea we know that isn't the case.
As for the World Trade Center buildings, it was kind of cool that they used it. A World like our, but not the same due to different choices.
