...stop consuming Anime/books/etc in such large chunks. double/triple digits of episodes in a go is probably not the best route.

Maybe they were 10 minute "mini-sodes" ?

I did watch the entirety of Evangelion and the movies all in one sitting though...

Heh, can't say I can top that. I've gone about 4-5 hours in one sitting before, but that was only once and probably will never happen again Smiley: tongue.

Well I've watched naruto episodes 1-100 in 3 days.. <.<; I wouldn't really doubt that I've done that too.

I tend to do this. Not watch things for months then watch them for eight hours or so at a time. I once watched an entire season of Avatar back to back (10 hours? I'd already watched the season twice, though, and I think I skipped the first episode), some 4000 pages of Bleach manga at once (1-233 on mangashare, never to read Bleach again, because it sucks) and a lot of Naruto episodes before I realised the programme was not, at any point, going to get good.

Back in high school I slept over a friend's house the day before we left to go to Otakon in Baltimore. We watched Dragonball Z for 12 hours straight (from 6 at night until 6 in the morning), then got up to catch the plane to MD. It was intense, and I do NOT recommend starting an Otakon weekend without sleep :-P
