God Bless You, Mr RosewaterFollow

So, this book has been hanging out in my bookcase for awhile now.

Today was going to be a slow day at work so I brought it in to read. Eight hours later, I have questions.


I don't understand, fully, the ending of the book. I am just perplexed at how he doesn't remember the last year, why he went nuts, etc. It mentions him "remembering" the fight, suicide attempts, what-have-you.


I see this connection with the rest of the book and the other characters that just "snapped". I am just disappointed we get to the main characters time, and we get little information.

This is actually my first read of any Vonnegut book, and it wasn't bad at all. Rather funny at times. I will be reading more (I have another 2-3 books waiting), but this left a bad taste all the same, just due to those last 2 chapters.
