One Piece: Just the standard end-of-arc wrap-up issue.

Bleach: Kenpachi Zaraki - Shinigami Saiyan. What doesn't kill him literally makes him stronger. Also I want Unohana to survive the fight, but since this is the last chapter of the series I don't see it happening. Also also I'm placing odds that Zaraki is Unohana's illegitimate kid.

My prediction is no one stays dead. Shocking, I know.

Bets on Unohana being permadead. She's about to get some sudden development in the form of a flashback, and it's largely the same setup as Gin.

As for her "sin," I'm guessing that's related to Yachiru Kusajishi being Unohana's daughter (or whatever the equivalent is for soul society). Unohana's original name being Yachiru is likely more than coincidence. I also might be crediting KUbo too much, but when Kusajishi was original found by Kenpachi, she was completely unfazed by the blood and violence she witnessed, which would make sense if she had been around a murderous Unohana. Kubo has connected plot points from way back before, so it's possible.

Kenpachi's weakness is a bit harder to discern. Perhaps it has something to do with him limiting himself, in that by trying to enjoy the fight he's not trying his best to win, and therefore is weaker. I'm guessing half his power up is going to come from Unohana slaying him multiple times, proccing his saiyan nature, and the other half is going to be his overcoming the mentality that has made him weaker since his first encounter against Unohana.

So, I think Unohana is throwing this fight on purpose. She's kicking Kenpachi's *** right now, but she's pretty much at her peak already. Kenpachi still has a lot of potential. So she's bringing him to the brink of death again and again, and I'm pretty sure she's healing him back up before he can actually die, thus making him stronger. Lather, rinse, repeat until the point where he also gets over whatever mental block he has and becomes the unstoppable murderkillsmash we know and love and kills Unohana (or almost kills her and she gets better).

Fairy Tail: Sadistic *****, nothing new there. Also Acnologia is apparently King of the Dragons, cause it seems like he's the one that ordered the annihilation.

Also there are 10K+ dragons in the world, and people never see them? Smiley: dubious

When people put fan art in scanlations, you'd think they'd at least use good fanart.

If I remember correctly, it was Kenpachi that named Yachiru Yachiru after Unohana. That's not to say we won't get a "You were quite insightful for naming her after me" speech, and I do like your theory. Just that I don't think it's the name.

I'm still betting on my Kenpachi is Yachiru's sword theory, or maybe the other way around.

I had forgotten Kenpachi named her, so that destroys the likelihood of familial relations. I've heard a few versions of the Kenpachi being someone's sword/someone being his sword. I thought there was some plausibility in Kenpachi being Unohana's bankai/murderous intent, along the lines of piccolo.

I think there are many that would love for Yachiru to be his sword.

I honestly think that Yachiru is just something to make Kenpachi a bit likeable. To give him a soft side sort of speak.

Speaking of soft side I suspect that he has toned down his berserk nature since he discovered Yachiru and started taking on a more precise fighting, out of fear of accidentally killing Yachiru. It would explain why Unohana commented that he didn't give her an opportunity to use tricks on him last time they fought.

I thought Unohana was clear on why he became weak. She gave Kenpachi a high that he's been unable to find again kinda like a addict trying to reach the same high as the first time. He use's the eye patch to that extent along with the the bells and not going all out at the start. Kenpachi has been holding back for so long that now he is presented with a chance to achieve that first high again, he wants to enjoy it again so he is still holding back even if he isn't concisely doing it. What Unohana is trying to do is correct this.

I will admit Yachiru might just turn out to be a cute mascot and knowing the author might be as much as she gets to do. I learned long ago not to get my hopes up with Bleach.

Naruto was decent this week, though it was mostly just setting the stage for next week.

I noticed almost no difference between Orochimaru's recent appearances and Orochimaru + his arms. I mean, he's been pulling the usual insane snake **** ever since coming back from Sasuke's takeover. I guess he needed his arms to perform more exact stuff, like the edo tensei or something? I dunno.

Yeah. He technically couldn't form seals without his arms so he couldn't use jutsus that required them.

Well technically since he summoned the Deathgod to get his arms back, and the death god had the 3rd and 4ths "soul" you could havewave it a bit, but I swore if the Deathgod got summoned he HAD to take SOMEONES soul as payment or something. I don't have time to look it up but I swear meh W/e. Cant wait to see Naruto Vs his dad, Kakashi vs the 3rd (or maybe lee or someone) you know its probably going to happen, or Ochimaru turns them all on Saske and he suddenly is so powerful he beats them or something stupid.

I wonder if Kubo and Narutos Mangaka had a sit down and were like "I've been trolling my fanbase for to long in Bleach, think you could do some trolling for me to take the heat off, or something stupid like they lost a bet and switched to writing for the opposites manga. Least that what it feels like.

Bleach was just reaffirming what we knew since day one, that Kenpachi holds back. What we simply don't know is the upper limit.

Sarutobi pulls a Jean Grey.

Doflammingo is about to Hulk out.

One Piece: First half is more padding, and the second half looks like it's the end of the Seven Warlords. Only Kuma-Bot, Hancock, and Mihawk are left from the originals, and I don't remember any confirmation that Buggy was made into a Warlord.

In regards to Bleach:
I'm starting to slowly see the trolling come back, now Kenpachi was supposed to be uber strong with "mental blocks" and no one before now supposedly wanted to use him? Uhm doesnt that make Ichigo's final Getsuga on Aizen kinda moot? Like Ohh we could have just had Kenpachi deal with him but we wanted to see if you could do it.
I mean didn't they all train to defeat Aizen?. meh.

I'd imagine it had to do with putting him back in the box once he's out. Not wanting to deal with the consequences and lack of control and such.

Fairy Tail: Rogue is insane.

Fairy Tail: I'm guessing when you join Sabertooth the Guild Master secretly places a mental command/spell that activates when you try to surrender to an enemy, and switches you into "Berzerker" mode.
