Wait, Ginjo died? I thought that fight was still going on.

Went back two chapters and huh, the fight was so unremarkable I didn't even notice it had ended.

Heh, you cared enough to read over previous chapters again, sucker. This is canon I couldn't care less about. If someone asked me why it was so bad, I couldn't answer well, because I wasn't paying attention.

If by read you mean look at the pictures in rapid succession then yeah.

Three weeks of no Bleach, and I'm guessing the next arc is going to start about then. Hopefully they explain why the Vizards are back to being Captains and such, and if Ririka committed suicide or what.

Which means none of it will be explained.

Oh, and in contrast Naruto continues to be an entertaining read.

It just dawned on me what manga I was reading.

My prediction: Dead Xcution members will return later as either hollows or shinigami. Smiley: mad

I really liked Naruto today.

I really liked One Piece today.

I really liked Fairy Tail last week, too.

I'm still a bit confused by Bleach.

3 weeks with no new content? Guess this arc is continuing for a little longer. Smiley: lol

So, anyone reading Hunter x Hunter? Of all these shounen series it's my favorite. It's odd how I find each arc to be better than the previous.

I think it's because the author knows where the hell he's going with things.

I dunno, the last arc with the ant things was pretty damn weird. I'm not sad it's over.

Edit: I do love the series on the whole though. Just wasn't my favorite arc.

I meant what I said about the arcs literally. Before this latest arc came out, which is now my current favorite--Leorio gets major props--I thought the ant arc was the best to date.

I really like the King character, and although I've seen rough approximations on that character type before, to me this was the best execution. His relationship with Komugi was brilliant. The three servants were each absolutely loyal, but the author gave them such differing perspectives on what that loyalty meant.

Bleach continues to be below average, Gantz is still "coming towards it's conclusion" every couple weeks, by the time a new chapter of Zetman comes out I feel like I've completely forgotten what happened previously, & Berserk continues to become adult One Piece (of which I've only read the first couple arcs).

Anything else I should be reading?

For shounen fanfare I really like Hunter x Hunter as stated before. Shingeki no Kyojin is also fairly new and shaping up well.

I could suggest works in other genres, but I'm not sure what appeals to you.

Over in the shoujo sphere, Skip Beat continues to crawl along at a troll's pace, and we haven't had any new Watashi ni xx Shinasai in ages. Smiley: glare

Silver Spoon, the latest from Arakama Hiromu (she of Full Metal Alchemist), has been very good so far. Very educational too. No alchemy here... just dairy cows.

Edit: ****, the latest chapter of Gakuen Alice slipped past me! *inhales*

Fist bump with a tsundere demon fox. Next chapter of Naruto should be especially fun to read, even if what I want to happen (IE: Demon Fox laughing maniacally and going on a evil rampage) won't happen, it should still be a fun to read. Probably involve several flashbacks of why our favorite nine-tailed fox became the way he did and why he rampaged all those years ago and such.

Also, browser game with Bleach/Naruto characters.

I was bored. So, I've never seen One Piece, so I checked out the latest chapter.

...Nevermind.

One Piece: Standard filler moving from end of last arc into new arc.

Naruto: Yellow Flash reappeared again? For a moment I thought it was Naruto with a chakra jacket, much like Ichigo tends to get, but then saw Naruto and the mystery individual together, which threw me off. It didn't look like Minato to me. I guess that's him. Or maybe it's the Nine-Tails in human form? Maybe I was too tired to read it this morning to follow properly.

I think that's Nine Tails.

I'm fairly certain it's just his clone.

Remember when he created a sage mode clone to detect the chakra rods in the 4 tails? He did it again. You can see a poof of summoning smoke in the mid left panel.

Or did you mean you didn't recognize the main Naruto? That's his tailed beast mode. That he has a fancy outfit is just the mary sue effect.

I had a lot of trouble with figuring out who was who in this issue as well, but after reading it again on a proper monitor rather than an iPhone, Allegory seems to be right. The one with the new outfit standing in the center of the head is Naruto; the sage mode one is a clone. On the first read through I completely missed Kakashi saying "sensei?" when Naruto saved his ***, though now it makes sense with that outfit.

Yeah, hiatus for almost a month. I think it was February when it kicks up again.
