Interesting new episode. I'm a big fan of Noah, so back to "morally gray"is ok w/me.
Daphne being alive changes things for the rebals a bit.
Looks like the future has a different US city going up in flames, time for Hiro to get his powers back so he can figure things out. Either that or use the Daphne & Ando time travel combo...
Maybe they'll do that to get some formula and get Hiro's powers back.
Despite complaining about Daphne snuffing it previously, I've decided I liked her better dead :-P Her dying was a petty excuse for Parkman to get angry. Her coming back is a cheap immortality gimmick seen waaaay too many times in the show already.
So, how did you all like last night's episode? I think it was honestly one of the best in the season thus far. Highlights/commentary:
Micah returns! I think we all knew he was Rebel (I guessed it as soon as Rebel started hacking things), but strangely I like his character more now. It might be that he hit puberty and got a deep voice. THAT was unexpected!
Tracy died. FINALLY. And she went out well. I really liked that scene. I didn't like her character (I've never liked that actress's characters), but that was a cool scene. I am calling right now: time for the third identical sister to show up. Sigh...
Daphne died. That was a little more unexpected, but done very well. I think that it was done to tie Parkman and his family back together.
Parkman's baby. Janice returns (cheating *****). Hiro gets his power back... temporarily. I really wish he would just get his powers back completely, but he's sorta godlike when he has them, so I guess it makes sense he doesn't. In other news, Ando can use his charge to shoot bolts. Sweet!
The scene near where Peter saves Angela was great. Now there's the Peter we like! Then it was ruined near the end with his gruff voice. When Milo tries to sound gruff, his face looks like he suffered a stroke, IMO.
Last question: who hog-tied the Puppet Master? It might have been said and I missed it.

So, any other thoughts?
I loved Tracy! Though there's speculation that she might be able to pull herself back together when she starts to melt, or something like that specifically because she is cast as Tracy Strauss for many more episodes and it would be slightly ridiculous for that to ALL be in flashbacks. But I also wouldn't mind if Barbara showed up and kick *** too.
I am so glad Micah was rebel. No other character would have made sense, and I hope with his return he'll bring Monica back too.

Wasen't there, in season one a gal who had the same power? I seem to remember her talking in text messages and was tied to Parkman and the Nuke guy.

Hana Gitelman AKA Wireless could send, receive, and interpret wireless signals... But she died in the online graphic novel (Well, her physical body. Her mind stayed on the internet) but it was just a much smarted move for the show to make rebel a character most people were familiar with. Hana appeared in like... One or two episodes in season one then just disappeared into obscurity.
Digitial Hanna died too. Elle fried her & Drucker.

There seems to be a lot of people here who liked the way Tracy went out, but honestly the whole blinking and tear drop thing at the end was just too much for me and came off as incredibly lame.

Aside from that, you can't deny that that scene was just ******* epic.

I agree, it kinda ruined it for me.
So, I have to ask something, because my memory is a little hazy. At the end of "Shades of Grey", wasn't there a scene with Sylar waiting in Baldy's apartment as he walks in with groceries? Was the opening scene of this episode supposed to continue with that? It seems a little disjointed, and they don't even show Sylar. I don't understand why Sylar would deliver the Puppeteer to Baldy instead of just killing him and taking his power to control people (a little redundant with his telekinesis perhaps?), but I guess there's a reason for it. I just wish they had shown a little more of what happened between the time Baldy came in and when he started shaving... did Sylar just hide out all that time and Baldy didn't notice the Puppeteer in his living room?
You can see both her eyes and it's just really clearly a wink. I also read somewhere that she was supposedly melting into the drain, or 'escaping'...
ETA: Yep... Watch the episode commentary on NBC's Heroes website. Bryan Fuller, the writer, states that it was a wink meant to make it very obvious to the viewers that she was not dead. He said she winked and is supposed to melt off into the drain to slip away. YAY! <3 Tracy.
God you're all haters. And you had better get used to her. The director said she will be taking on a far more important role in the rest of the season and next season.
I for one love Ali Larter... Especially since Elle is gone.

And here I was beginning to have hope for the show again...
I never seen Wireless being killed and for the past 2 years it annoyed me that they introduced this character then didnt even bother to write her out. Thats why I always thought she was Rebel, I suppose Micah makes more sense.
And if they are going to keep bringing people back to life, am I the only one who wants DL back?

I agree. Tonight's episode had no Tracy or Micah and was just kind of bleh.
